While Christian churches are being destroyed on a near daily basis in Muslim countries throughout the world, the Obama administration is investing millions of dollars to rebuild overseas Islamic mosques and minarets.
According to the State Department, the mosque restoration program, first reported on back in 2010, is a “cultural preservation” project designed to “fight Islamic extremism by building relationships with Islamic leaders.”
It seems that the mindset of the citizens is that they actually choose a President. This country was built upon a pretty descent foundation, but very quickly began it's succesful building on greed, avarice, power, wealthy power brokers, and lawyers. Does God care who you check your one vote for? Really? Think about that for in light of the depravity of humanity. Do you think God is a Democrat or a Republican? Power rules, speaks and adjusts the mindset of society through it's wealth and Corporate control of media. The days of Jefferson, Washington, and all the idealism of the past are over and it is a dream to even think that it can be resurrected by a corrupt and self-serving humanity. Corporations have purchased this country. They control and own it. It's is so obvious to see this reality. There is profit to be made in rebuilding Mosques and destroying them as well as rebuilding cities and destroying them. It's called enterprise; profit and loss.
I see this as an attempt of appeasment on the Democrats part. They think that we are hated by the muslim world because we deseve to be because of past atrocities. The problem with such thinking is that it is naive. Many muslims hate us because we are a free people and have been successful. Obama and many liberals feel the same way about America. It's time we were knocked down a peg or two so we can learn what it's like to be on the lower end.
I may not entirely agree with John MacArthur's view that states the U.S. is under God's judgment, because I see still see God at work in many people's lives today. I believe the "world" is already under God's judgment and, in that sense, the U.S. is part of the world. But I am hopeful that the U.S. is still at a crossroads - when many see the issues of the day being economics, God is still calling for repentance and faith in His Son Jesus. Yes, being in trillions of dollars worth of debt is a moral issue, but articles like these point to nothing more than the spiritual insanity that needs God's grace mentioned in 2 Tim 2:24-26. May America, by God's grace, see the real issues of the day, and vote for leaders that more correctly align themselves with God's principles.

Hi K...I hope you are still around because I'd like to know what has offended you. I'm not quite sure what part of the story was without facts because the headline was fairly black and white. We are spending millions to rebuild mosques in an attempt establish some sort of a relationship so that the extremists stop killing us which will never be successful. Why do we rebuild mosques for those who want us dead but not rebuild the gathering places of those who want us to live?

The politically correct Liberal thing to do is support your favorite worldly religion. That is Democrat policy.
The other poltically correct Liberal thing which the Democrats do is reject God and His Bible.

When will these people learn that there is no reasoning with the Muslims? When we do things like this, even they must scratch their heads thinking, what's wrong with these people?
We will never have a relationship with them and they will never tolerate us nor stop trying to kill us...hello...they hate us because we are not Muslim...period. I'm so aggravated that my tax dollars are once again being foolishly used to rebuild their mosques...really ridiculous. So, we just keep rewarding them every time they set off a bomb and express our appreciation for the thousands of innocent men, women, and children that they've killed in the name of Allah.
