Texas Baptist church supports Planned Parenthood as a ‘missions’ focus
A Texas Baptist church has its feet firmly planted in sinking Biblical sand.
Promoting abortion, linking with Planned Parenthood. We saw it with the United Methodists, the Episcopalians, the Presbyterians (USA), the Disciples of Christ, but somehow, seemingly immune, have been the Baptists. Now, true Baptists would probably not say that LakeShore Baptist Church in Waco, TX represents them, but most true Baptists would also trust the church sign because “Baptist” is a label that still tends to have some bottom lines (except maybe in the case of the infamous Westboro Baptist clan) — and being pro-life is one of them, across the board: but not across town from the nation’s most famous Baptist university.
Lakeshore’s statement of faith appears as mainstream as most Baptist churches. But, in fact, this church that claims the name of Jesus has a “covenant group” that supports abortion rights. The...

If Jesus were to ask the typical church today: (NOT Just Baptist)
'Do you want to be made well?'
The typical modern church would likely respond with something like:
'Sick??? (we're not sick)
Want to be made well???
(From what! Don't you know we are trying to win people to you? We are even planning to cancel all our Sunday services and Sunday School Classes to have a big all-day Super Bowl outreach this year for the people in our community and we've got all sorts of fun and games, music and face painting and chili and hot dogs and a fantastic Christian comedian to entertain with a devotion at half time. We would really love it if you would make it a blessing and lots of people would say the sinner's prayer before watching the rest of the game.)
So what are You talking about???
Whatever happened that we have flushed the desperately needed, trembling before a completely and entirely Holy Almighty and Just God, FEAR OF GOD away as something unclean in "OUR" modern comfortable churches?
I can be an ordained baptist minister on a couple of weeks if I so desired. It's really easy. Find a small rural church struggling to find a pastor and announce you think you have been " called to preach ". Preach a while and then ask to be ordained. A majority vote in a fifteen member church and your on your way. Your an " ordained Baptist minister " ready to go anywhere you please now with your credentials. All Israel is not Israel. And another thing, how many times have you seen someone walk the aisle, speak to the preacher and then be presented and voted on for membership ? Majority vote and it's done. Full privileges of the visible church. Anyone vetted this person? A supporter of ..........? Please baptist leaders, you allow anyone to be anything for the sake of numbers. Study church disciple. Your government is sloppy at best. Case in point , can any baptist organization discipline this bunch that cast it's lot with murderers? No. There will be a couple of articles, a few protest written but you have no teeth or structure to discipline. And when the challenge is allowed to go flow on, these people will still be allowed to hold the name baptist .
