Why Are We Surprised With the Push for 'Pedophile Rights'?
Last year, many Americans were shocked by reports about a pro-pedophilia conference in Baltimore, in which psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, representing institutions like Harvard and Johns Hopkins, sought to present pedophilia in a sympathetic and even positive light. Now, a sympathetic article on the struggles of pedophiles is also causing shock waves. But why should we be surprised?

Academic articles in scholarly journals have been presenting pedophilia in an empathetic light for years, and, as Matthew Cullinan Hoffman noted, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) released a report in 1998, “claiming that the ‘negative potential’ of adult sex with children was ‘overstated’ and that ‘the vast majority of both men and women reported no negative sexual effects from their child sexual abuse experiences.’ It even claimed that large numbers of the victims reported that their ...

Anyway, what I was trying to emphasize is the Irish Rover's song, The Irish Rovers - The Orange and the Green - Sung by the late, great Jimmy Ferguson (YouTube). You can see it on your computer or most tablets, etc. It also has a verse apparently removed, about the battle of Boyne, which quite a few renderings of it do, and even one giving the lyrics. This is just as well, since I put it up because it humorously points out a problem which conservative Protestants want to show to their children and one that I would suppose even some Catholic parents still do? So, that is the song, I really, really wanted people to pay attention to, and without strong political implications.

You know you can get a tablet for under a $100 dollars? Try Newegg or Walmart, they have one that cost me about twice as much, but that was still under a $100, and it serves the purpose.

You ought to be happy I have the time to point some of these things out to you.

The (Northern) Irish Rovers had some interesting songs, and I would suggest the Orange and the Green, it is presented as a humorous song, but is actually a warning against marriages of between Christian and Catholic. Something that has been warned about in my church, I would hope also in yours.

I didn't bring up the issue of how some items are common to some books "unicorns" are in the Harry Potter series and I would suppose in the Tolkin books as well. It is also in ... (fill in the blank.)

Some of us have lives to live and families to provide for, Jim. I would certainly have to 'like a tablet', just to comprehend some of your idle posts which bemuse just as much as the rants from STREET PREACHER/TAKING A PUBLIC STAND. Maybe you don't notice

Well, I checked on my urls and I should have put this up for The Irish Rovers, the Unicorn song, The Irish Rovers--The Unicorn Song (YouTube).

Apparently these fellows were a Northern Ireland group? However, they did a song that would appeal to old-fashioned Catholics and certainly to modern Evangelical Protestants, The Irish Rovers - The Orange and the Green - Sung by the late, great Jimmy Ferguson (YouTube). Even conservative Protestants who don't live in Ulster might consider putting this in their church music repertoire.

If the above URLs don't work, which they just didn't on the computer I copied the urls off when I ran them! use your YouTube enabled device, like a tablet, or put those names in a search engine and try them out yourselves! Gasp!

Well well academics and psychiatrists for paedophilia. Liberalism started with these quote "brainy" people who invariably are atheists too.

Moral decline begins amongst mans most arrogant sinners. They just don't 'need' God!! They believe!!

If memory serves a former Romish priest, was one of the early pushers of this immoral thought, but what is to be expected when one looks at the falsity and The Scandal of the Catholic Priesthood.

There is a fairly large number (I'm not saying large percentage) of the Roman Catholic priesthood who should be sterilized if they don't make a Pilgrimage From Rome in the right way.

But, no, this development isn't surprising at all. A quotation from an unknown source to me, 'Homosexuals claim that "heterosexuals" molest most children but statistics show that homosexuals molest at far higher rates than do heterosexuals. Rev. Paul Shanley, a retired Catholic priest was arrested on May 4, 2002 in San Diego on three counts of child rape. Shanley had a history of molesting boys that went back to 1967. He was at the founding meeting of the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) and while in San Diego operated a bed & breakfast for homosexuals in Palm Springs. Shanley has openly called for "man-boy" love.' except from a comment on, The Mombu Political Forum.
