France ups embassy security after prophet cartoons
France stepped up security at some of its embassies on Wednesday after a satirical Parisian weekly published crude caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed. The prime minister said he would block a demonstration by people angry over a movie insulting to Islam as the country plunged into a fierce debate about free speech.
The government defended the right of magazine Charlie Hebdo to publish the cartoons, which played off of the U.S.-produced film The Innocence of Muslims, and riot police took up positions outside the offices of the magazine, which was firebombed last year after it released an edition that mocked radical Islam....
Actually John U.K., Christians who were once Muslims and parts of other cults such as Catholicism and Jehovah Witnesses, have quite a few things to say about them, e.g., ]Articles about Catholicism and articles about Jehovah Witnesses. Everything is provocative to Satan when you don't agree with him.
This attack on a poorly done film was no doubt done as a preventative measure by the Islamic Brown Shirts (q.v., Sturmabteilung to one that probably would have been much better done by a famous Islamist turned Christian,

"Strong religious belief"? Yes, Islam believes it must take the whole world and enforce Islam on every creature, including you.
Besides, do you really expect Muslims and Atheists to have "civilised good manners"? I don't think you'll find Christians making provocative films.
But it makes no difference anyway, as it is all an excuse for Muslims to be militant. Christians must expose false teachers, false prophets, false doctrines, false religions. Muslims have something far greater than an irreverent film to worry about, they should be concerned about their immortal souls. Problem is, they deny Christians the right to proclaim the gospel in their midst. Maybe they are just "brute beasts" to be taken and destroyed, as Peter mentioned.
Perhaps we should take away their freedom to preach Islam in western countries? Their religion is obviously a killing religion.

The world doesn't revolve around the easily offended. If someone is offended at a movie or a cartoon, should they not take it up with the moviemaker or cartoonist? How does the embassy attacks and murders fit in to "offense? You make them sound like children having a tantrum. Is the adult world supposed to consider the bad manners of the fit throwing child?
maybe the French will begin to see Muh for what it is....a political system
the west should have rejected their euguenics fathers and had their families and strengthened their lands and controlled their borders...
instead they bought the eugenics lie and didn't have children but had their abortions, making them open target, let the darwinists bring them into wars that spread shria and left their borders open for further spread of this.
now we see the potential coming onto the west, fulfilling muh prophecies of old of regaining control of the world.
if we are to take offense, it should be when leaders in the west do not care to represent their own people -- we have watched the old guard of middle east leaders fall on their swords these years to stop shria/other sects from taking over. unfortunately they were not able to stop the western tide of shria to the middle east. now the west wallows in a bed of confusion.
I can only imagine the darwinists hiding out in bunkers if times get difficult, while we saw those "evil" dictators of the Middle East remain to the end.

Rubbish! C'mon Russ stick to common sense it makes a whole lot more sense. In other countries there are beliefs cultures and different religions and ideas. That of itself does not make your country (wherever you live) right about everything. If another country has a strong religious belief which differs from that of your own, then why mock it with cartoons and puerile movies.

These cartoons and silly movies are not the work of Jesus and certainly - definitely will not serve His purposes.
James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God
Below the surface, Have you been smoking crack? I can't believe you are putting the blame for all the deaths on the backs of the cartoonists and film makers. Where is the responsibility of those satanic masses of Muslims that rampage and destroy over something so stupid? By your logic, gun manufacturers are guilty of every death because they produced the implement that was misused, car makers are guilty because they make cars that they know will exceed the speed limit, and cooks are guilty because they know that what they are cooking is not healthy if you eat too much. You are being rediculous and worse, you are empowering more of the same behavior from the Muslims. Just like a spoiled rotten child who throws a tantrum to get their own way, you would have us give in to their threats. It's cowardice.
Mohammed should be depicted as a dog. I wonder what would happen if I were to make a picture depicting Mohammed as a dog and post it somewhere in the municipality where I reside?
Caroline Glick wrote: A word about the much mentioned film about Muhammad is in order. The film was apparently released about a year ago. It received little notice until last month when a Salafi television station in Egypt broadcast it.... In light of the response, the purpose of the broadcast was self-evident. The broadcasters screened the film to incite anti-American violence.
Had they not been interested in attacking the US, they would not have screened the film.
They sought a pretext for attacking America. If the film had never been created, they would have found another – equally ridiculous – pretext.

Everybody knows from the outset, including the cartoonists and the editors of these rags, that the cartoons like that inane movie recently, that they will start trouble and people will die.
That movie and like the cartoons previously published have the potential to kill.
Yes the cartoons "matter" just like an AK47 because they are being used as weapons to kill. Which should bring ordinary western society to the conclusion that the movie and the cartoons will kill our own civil servants working abroad.
Therefore what "matters" is that enough decent thinking people condemn these cartoons and movies to eradicate this evil pest from civilized society soon.
One has to remember, Support Denmark: Why the Forbidden Cartoons Matter. The first time the Muhammadans came out like a pack of wild dogs. I will say that the Muhammadans in France have decided it was wiser not to act like a bully boys. Perhaps the Australian example where the people have gotten angry over Brown-shirt of Muhammadans, probably caused a lot of ill will.
