Will Science Someday Rule Out the Possibility of God?
Over the past few centuries, science can be said to have gradually chipped away at the traditional grounds for believing in God. Much of what once seemed mysterious — the existence of humanity, the life-bearing perfection of Earth, the workings of the universe — can now be explained by biology, astronomy, physics and other domains of science.
Although cosmic mysteries remain, Sean Carroll, a theoretical cosmologist at the California Institute of Technology, says there's good reason to think science will ultimately arrive at a complete understanding of the universe that leaves no grounds for God whatsoever.

Science didn't build anything; men did, using clever but unprovable theoretical models about nature & engineering heuristics. And science didn't “discover†biological & chemical entities either; men observed certain phenomena & devised names & behavioral models about them. These models may be useful, but they still fall short of truth because of Induction & Affirming the Consequent, just as Russell admitted.
Man has a rational mind, true, but unlike God, he misuses it because of sin.
science built bridges, buildings, pyramids, airplanes.
science discovered bacteria, proteins, viruses, human cells, and chemical formulas.
we will never master God's world, but we can be amazed.
science cannot save us. we will face our maker and there is an end to this life.
but the rational mind is a gift from God.
data manipulation is very common, false assumptions-- the corruption and limitations of man make it so he will never master the world.
but God did not give us a rational mind to master the world, that is where the problem is.....but to approach the world as a child, in wonder.....science is meant to lead us back to Him.
It is the pride of man that says he will prove no God.
Am I hearing this question right? Since when has science gone back to proving anything? They havent tried to prove anything in a very long time, theories assumptions, manipulation of data and destroying opposing view points is the MO of modern science. Next question.

Well said Neil, inductive logic is the main method of scientific empiricism and can never give any absolute truths. Never mind tell us if there is a God what a ridiculous statement for anyone to make, but repeat it enough times and you might convince the lazy minded.

I think science proves the infinite attributes of God. It is almost unbelievable what length people will go to say there is no God. It takes more faith to believe that all this came out of nothing than to believe God made it.
1 Corinthians 1 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
Matthew 11 25 At that time Jesus said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. 26 "Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. 27 "All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
