DC Launches First-In-The-Nation Trans Respect Ad Campaign

The District of Columbia government Thursday will launch a campaign that advocates say is a first of its kind: A series of ads "promoting respect for the District’s transgender and gender-non-conforming communities."

One of the ads features Kisha, a trans woman who lives in D.C. The ad quotes Kisha, saying, "I love wandering through Smithsonian museums, eating on H Street with friends, and going to shows at Howard Theatre."

Then, the aim of the campaign: "I’m a transgender woman and I’m part of DC. Please treat me the way any woman would want to be treated: with courtesy and respect." ...

You have to judge each PBS show on it's own, some of the material that Bill Moyers is fairly good, e.g., Full Show: The Resurrection of Ralph Reed. One of the shows that Nebraska Ed. T.V. was surprising good Yes, I was even surprised about the fairness and the good presentation of that show.

So, KJVO, you should be watching out what you hear on conservative talk radio, many times presented by Catholics, Mormons, (ah remember, Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses?) or secular clowns, like Limbaugh? I hope you use quite a bit of discernment there also.

No queers don't deserve respect, since they are flaunting their sin, but then as Christians we don't act like Muhammadans either, The Sexual Pathology of the Libyan Attackers

We are to remember, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. One would hope some of these people are chosen to answer the call of the Good News.

Really, you are trusting something put out by PBS? But seeing this is an article on transgender "rights", I guess you are saying that the transgender community planned the attacks on 9/11 (and that is 9/11 not 911). Transgender "rights" are another effort by the liberal left (PBS is a good spokesman for them) trying to force their view of morality on the majority of Americans who do not share their thinking. Romans 1:21,22 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools,

It is my choice to ignore, avoid, or acknowledge anyone. TRANSGENDER? How would I know? Why should I know? Respect is a moral virtue which must be EARNED, and a PRIVLILEDGE to be granted. It is NOT a right to be demanded. RESPECT is fragile and can be easily forfited through selfishness.

I was going to comment on this last night but couldn't formulate my thouhts.

Thank you, Chas, for putting the thoughts of my heart into words.

This is exactly what happens when we abandon God and His word as a nation. Without the foundation, the whole thing begins to crumble. As you can see from some other articles, incest, polygamy, and this nonsense are coming on the heels of our government endorsement of sodomy.

I think its weird that people are trying to act like this normal. We all know that moms will still tell their kids its not polite to stare...the kids stare becaue they have the honesty to admit that these people look like freaks while everyone else tries to pretend that these people are normal.
