Richard Dawkins Echoes Bill Nye: ‘Who Cares About Creationists’ & Their ‘Deep, Profound Ignorance’
Creationism and evolution have been hot topics of late, following a viral, anti-creationism video that was put out by scientist Bill Nye. The initial clip sparked a response from the Creation Museum, in which two scientists argued that both theories should be taught to children. Now, prominent atheist leader and biologist Richard Dawkins is speaking out.
“I don’t think that religion has anything useful to teach us,” Dawkins proclaimed this week in an interview with CNN, going on to tout evolution as undeniable fact. “It’s as certain as the fact that the earth and the other planets orbit the sun.”
Of those Americans who believe that God created human beings and that the earth isn’t millions of years old, as evolutionary science contends, Dawkins claims there is a “deep, profound ignorance.” While he conceded that some smart people are, indeed, religious, he drew some important distinctions....
When Richard Dawkins can answer this simple question I may listen to what he has to say and not until then. Richard, The complex, mechanisms needed to decode the DNA, and to proof-read it for errors are themselves proteins, coded in the DNA. Thus we have the classic chicken and egg problem: since proteins are needed to read, check and manufacture DNA, and DNA is needed to make proteins, which came first in the alleged evolutionary process?
I watched the movie "Expelled" when it first came out in which Richard Dawkins stated emphatically that evolution is a fact. But, then when pressed on how life began here on earth he stated aliens must have seeded it here, and we are supposed to take him seriously.

Poor so called scientific guy. You have to wonder if he actually came to that conclusion through the scientific method, or was it something he ate? He does have a lot of double-ended out-gassing, so my guess is it was indeed something he ate. (Not that the scientific method could back him up anyway)
Jim Just alittle piece of friendly advice for you. When you quote from Scripture you should use the KJV, in respect of sensible Christians who would rather not use the Liberal version of the NASB, et al, which contains the higher criticism and short-changed Greek of Anglican Liberals.
1 Corinthians 1 18 For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, "I WILL DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE, AND THE CLEVERNESS OF THE CLEVER I WILL SET ASIDE." 20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For indeed Jews ask for signs, and Greeks search for wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles foolishness, 24 but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.---NASB
John 6:44...No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. This passage flies in the face of human logic and reason too. But it is just as true as " In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Unregenerate reason always rebels against Christ.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (KJV)
Graford wrote: "No serious scientist doubts that we are cousins of gorillas, we are cousins of monkeys, we are cousins of snails, we are cousins of earthworms. We have shared ancestors with all animals and all plants. There is no serious scientist who doubts that evolution is a fact." The look on the face of Richard Dawkins on judgment day is going to be an absolute picture! Ignorance in the reprobate is sin originated and of course as we know Satan blinds them from the truth. Therefore Dawkins atheism and science of evolution is quite simply speculative in a mind of asininity, fatuous and inept. This is not insulting this is identifying the reprobate state of mental ability. After all it is God who calls them "fools".... Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." And who are we to argue with God?
An excellent comment. It was a blessing to me! I have always thought that if Satan can make people believe in evolution, then he can make them believe anything.
