Texas sociologist gets caught in an academic witch hunt

An important component of pro-homosexual propaganda is the notion that children raised by homosexuals turn out as well as children raised by heterosexuals-but University of Texas at Austin (UT) professor Mark Regnerus undercut that notion with a study published in June in the journal Social Science Research.

Regnerus used one of the largest data sets ever amassed for such a study. He found that children raised by homosexual parents have had more problems than children raised by married heterosexual parents in virtually every one of more than 40 categories examined. When the children grow up, they have problems with impulse control, depression, and thoughts of suicide. They are more likely to need mental health therapy and identify as homosexual themselves. Regnerus concluded, "The empirical claim that no notable differences exist must go."

The study received nationwide media attention, and ...

My dear brothers who have defended the gospel so well against John Y, please at least consider the following. I wrote this to someone else and am simply copying it. I am simply saying; "don't let him frustrate or disturb you in any way".

Here is the way I look at John's post, "although I may in fact be wrong". I think he is a "religious" troll and I am including him in the below definition I got from the internet. I only respond to him for other's sake and not his.
An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

But, I could be wrong about the above and he could simply be that blind? Only the Lord knows for sure. What I am saying is that he has no desire for truth, but simply wants to provoke others. Please note that he never argues scriptures.

You attend their church but don't practice their religion and don't speak to them very much??? It doesn't sound as though you acknowledge them at all. However by continuing to be present at their idolatrous and blasphemous assemblies you condone this heresy and witness to the effect that you approve of this form of religious transgression. The popish outfit's violation of Biblical precept and doctrine is condemned by God, if you truly follow Christ then you cannot be in concord with Belial.
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?" 2Cor 6:14f.
I practice the scriptural aspects of the Catholic religion. And there are scriptural doctrines in the Catholic religion. So to state that the entirety of the Catholic religion is idolatrous and blasphemous is false. I only participate in the scriptural parts to the Mass. During the unscriptural parts I remain silent.

The idolatry which you affirm by your presence amongst the idolatrous RCC.
I do not bow down and pray to the statues and Crucifix in the Catholic Church that I attend. When someone affirms an activity then that means that they participate in the activity. Well if I do not participate in the idolatry then I am not affirming idolatry.

God is not going to bless those who reject Him and His Son. Romans chapter one illustrates this well with the reference to His wrath.(v18) Therefore it is no surprise that the evil sin of the abomination passes to the seed of those who live by the lust of the flesh.
Psalm 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day."

Psalm 9:16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. 17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."

Exod 20:5 "I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me"

About the idolatry which you affirm by your presence amongst the idolatrous RCC...
Psalm 135:15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them."

What has the fact that Regnerus is a recent convert to the Catholic Church got to do with this article? It is totally superflous in relation to the study that Regnerus conducted that he is now a Catholic.
