Canada: humanist attempts to force Gideons out of schools

A humanist in Canada is seeking to stop the Gideons from distributing free copies of the Bible in schools.

Rene Chouinard says it is biased for the Bible to be distributed but not free atheist literature.

He offered some free atheist material to schools, hoping that it would result in ending the Bible distribution.

It is just as troubling that the Gideons are being hampered in giving Bibles to the Scottish police forces. I see they are already compromising in just giving out the New Testament -- so as not to offend Catholics?
I do like to see Bibles given out, whole Bibles that is, and I hope the Gideons come up with some ingenious ways to carry out their mission. They can might be able to give out more computer Bible programs such as e-Sword or The Lockman Foundation -- Free Downloads.
