â€˜Made Up Religionâ€™: TV Historian Enrages Muslims

Tom Holland

Television historian Tom Holland is receiving a multitude of criticisms and threats following his in-depth investigation into Islam. After examining the faith and its early texts, he came to some fascinating â€” and apparently enraging â€” conclusions in a documentary he produced for British television.

In a program called, â€œIslam: The Untold Story,â€ Holland claimed that there is little evidence written surrounding the life of the Prophet Muhammad â€” the central figure in the Islamic faith. Additionally, he noted that the Koran makes only one reference to Mecca, the religionâ€™s holiest city. These sentiments, of course, cast doubts upon Islam and are, thus, controversial to say the least.

While I doubt if street preaching has much to do with this thread, except of course you aren't going to do it in an Islamic country, in fact Catholics are having even a hard time building a church in Indonesia, Christian leader cries shame as Minister, Mayor and Islamists close the Yasmin Church.

Freedom of Speech is an important right in the U.S., as has been pointed out, Support Denmark: Why the Forbidden Cartoons Matter, least we forget.

Rather sad, Screening of controversial Channel 4 documentary on history of Islam cancelled after presenter is threatened.

It's getting bad, when Western countries have to be reminded, Muhammadâ€™s critics and their deaths--Why the West must protect freedom of speech.

Of course a person has to refer to three books, (remind you of Mormonism?

) and the Qur'an is just one of the three, but of course there is The Incompleteness and Incoherence of the Qur'an. This help causes the Inadequacy of Islam, especially when you consider the co-inventor of Islam with Satan, Muslim Mindset: 'The hatred is in Muhammad himself' (A secular view of Islam).
