Is Interdenominational Theological Center Still a Christian Institution?

Dr. Jamal-Dominique Hopkins never thought he would be fired for taking a biblical stand against homosexuality at a Christian university. But that’s what he’s claiming in the wake of his termination from the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC).

The drama began when Hopkins invited Alice Brown-Collins, director for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s Black Campus Ministries in the New England Region, to speak. Brown-Collins handed out a copy of Robert Gagnon’s The Bible and Homosexual Practice, which offers an analysis of biblical texts relating to homosexuality.

Hopkins, an expert on the Dead Sea Scrolls, says that didn’t sit too well with Margaret Aymer, associate professor of New Testament studies at ITC. After Gangon’s book was distributed to his students, Hopkins says Aymer told him his job was on the line. ...

Ah yes, just like the United Bible Societies, who ought to just leave out 'Bible' from their title. Ecumenical in the very root.

Well, as,

1 Corinthians 6
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.---NASB

points out, there is a certain standard that Christians are suppose to achieve, and of course politicians of both parties being Gentiles:

Matthew 20
25 But Jesus called them to Himself, and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them.
26 "It is not so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant,
27 and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave;---NASB

The above verses certainly can't be applied to politicians.

By the way most interdenominational stuff is ecumenical stuff, which means they aren't Christian, hmm, just like politicians.

Ah, Rybolern why just the White House? There are a variety of sins that are practiced especially by the Republicans.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10

They are specialists at verse 10! The Record of Republican Corruption but this URL doesn't go back for enough, e.g.,

R.L. Dabney wrote:
Nearly two generations ago (the men of this day seem to have forgotten the infamy) William H. Seward,[famous Repub.] of New York, began this dangerous and dishonest game. He wished to be Governor of New York. He came to an understanding with Archbishop Hughes, then the head of the popish hierarchy in that state, to give him the Irish vote in return for certain sectarian advantages in the disbursement of the state revenues. Neither Rome nor the demagogues have since forgotten their lesson,...It would be as unreasonable to expect it as to expect that hawks will forget the poultry yard.

"The ITC says it educates and nurtures women and men who commit to and practice a liberating and transforming spirituality; academic discipline; religious, gender, and cultural diversity; and justice and peace"

There's that word "diversity" again - always a good excuse to embrace political correctness and reject the restrictions of the Word of God.

With some denominations and churches going the same evil way its no surprise that colleges and seminaries with Liberal influences will travel this hellish path too.

The satanic pestilential disease of liberalism extends its evil influence throughout the entire nation including the Whitehouse, so the local college is a natural place for it to home in on. It is epidemic going on pandemic.
