Romney, Obama Both Disagree With Boy Scouts' Gay Leader Ban
Both major party presidential candidates President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney said recently, through spokespersons, that they disagreed with the Boy Scouts of America's recent reaffirmation of its ban on homosexual leaders. Romney also supports the group's right to have such a ban.
Romney first expressed his view in a 1994 debate when he was running for the U.S. Senate.
"I support the right of the Boy Scouts of America to decide what it wants to do on that issue. I feel that all people should be able to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation," Romney said at the time.
In an email to The Associated Press Saturday, Andrea Saul, a spokesperson for the Romney campaign, said that Romney's position has not changed....

This is why the nation(s) have got themselves into a mess over "queer marriage" The only reason that the sodomites can now apply for a quote "marriage" is because the nations have vindicated their perverse sexual habits in the first place. Had these deviant sexual habits not become acceptable by Politicians bureaucrats and UnBiblical Liberal churches, then the debate over sodomite "marriage" ceremonies would never have got off the ground. Now that these perverted sexual habits have been legitimized in society the society cannot discriminate against the sodomite. The wrath of God is upon western nations because of these unnatural disgusting abominations.
Well said, they have simply reframed the argument. The real issue is whether or not homosexuality is an abomination and everything must start with "yes it is" and go from there.
On my honor, I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.

The beginning of the article states: "Both major party presidential candidates President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney said recently, through spokespersons, that they disagreed with the Boy Scouts of America's recent reaffirmation of its ban on homosexual leaders. It's all about the votes. Anyone of real substance and real beliefs that refuses to bend their views will never be elected in this country. We have become too divided as a nation.
Someone needs to re-read the article and decide if Romney is for or against the ban. I would imagine he supports it, but who knows with all the mind changing going on in this election.
