House Republicans Oppose, but May Fund, Attack on Religious Liberty

Even as Republicans campaign in this year's election on a promise to repeal President Obama's signature health care program, the party's leadership in the House appears ready to continue funding for ObamaCare and its controversial mandate that employers include coverage for contraception, sterilization, and abortion-inducing drugs in health care plans for their employees.

With no budget passed for the current year, the House and Senate last week reached agreement on a continuing resolution to continue funding all government departments and program at current levels through March of next year. The agreement has been scheduled for a vote in September, as current spending authority expires on September 30. At a press conference at the capitol last Thursday, Cybercast News Service (formerly Conservative News Service) asked House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) about funding for ObamaCare and the ...

thanks Rufus! now there's the man spending 30 days in jail in Oregon for collecting rainwater for his garden on his own property.....apparently the rain belongs to the state and its illegal to use it.....more agenda 21 keeping people from feeding themselves.... during a falling economy, seems downright cruel. guess anyone who grows food in Oregon has been told who's boss, ya.

while milk farmers are swat teamed and put in prison, the supreme court rules that eugenics care is a tax.

which means that the FED, a private coorporation, is now in charge of healthcare through their police force the IRS to collect money from citizens to pay for eugenics of all citizens.

after a decade of transitioning local police powers to a national security force with funding and numbers unheard of called homeland security. congressman in conjuction pass bills that give rights of strong arm outside of bill of rights protections. many bills written by contracting companies who then get the contracts and the Congress doesn't even read the bills before they sign.

famous republican congressmen standing at the podium, declaring, "when they say they want a lawyer, we tell them, you don't get one.'"

and I am to even take someone seriously still debating one party or the other?

do we not see what has come upon this land?

the same entities celebrating their new open gay societies, multimillion dollar party in Nairobi to celebrate the great perversions of babylon pass these bills.... on both sides of the aisle.

...then we go to church on Sunday and hear again, what a free and special country this is.

.....the american church, will be the last to get the memo.

It's perfectly clear to me what the Australian is saying. He's saying hardly anyone trusts their governments.
Could there possibly be a reason for that?

Yes, as are Australian user should know governments can't be trusted. The PM of Tasmania promised not to support queer marriages as a campaign promise and now is reversing herself!

House Republicans, well as Mr. Abramoff pointed out, q.v.,‘Evil’ lobbyist Jack Abramoff talk US politics (short YouTube) Democrats are not immune to bribery either. He just happened to be a Republican working the Republican majority and Presidency. What he suggests would not cure the problem forever, since politicians are very inventive in finding ways of getting bribed, and they would find a way to get around his suggestions, at least eventually. It almost make you yearn for the days when Republicans of Congress would be corrupted with money and Democrats of Congress would be corrupted by sex. Nowadays someone scrambled the eggs, and you find these politicians as cross-dressers when it comes to the kinds of corruption.

Again, some of these people are hollering by a law that hasn't taken effect yet, Of course the Romish Church, the Mormons and no doubt some Lutherans groups are out there protecting their healthcare turfs, since their healthcare plans are bribery to remain in those denominations.

Mike -- one could argue that at this point the Congress itself is a staged event.

Governments by their nature and their history should not be trusted. This is not news. What I'd like to know what specifically is "its staged like the shooting r staged actors nasa stagged scam.." General comments about trust don't help much.

What's the future for America when the government funds barrenness? Eventually they'll be forced into funding fertility.

ACLU Attacks Catholics  Find all comments by ACLU Attacks Catholics
The ACLU decided Friday to jump into a lawsuit challenging the HHS Contraception Mandate on behalf of a private Catholic business owner in St. Louis. Not surprisingly, they are defending Secretary Sebelius and her attack on religious freedom.

But get this...

The ACLU is arguing that any business owner that opposes the HHS Contraception Mandate is no different than a racist shop owner that refused to serve African Americans in the past!

You read that correctly.

If you refuse to provide unlimited birth control, sterilizations, and abortion drugs -- for free -- you are a modern day segregationist!

If you would provide names of actual conservatives blessing Obamacare, it would help us Americans sort it all out.

Apples with oranges. Liberty protects the child. Where in the Bible is government mandated abortion of a tiny child to be supported by Christians?
