Concerning Mormons and Republicans, history offers a large helping of irony. In 1843, an Army officer named John C. Fremont led a geographical expedition of 39 men more than 1,700 miles to the shores of the Great Salt Lake. His report on the journey inspired hounded Mormons to mount their wagons and resettle in the Great Basin.
Thirteen years later in Philadelphia, Fremont became the first presidential nominee of the Republican Party, which adopted a platform opposing the "twin relics of barbarism -- Polygamy, and Slavery." The slogan, and the anti-Mormon sentiment behind it, caught on. A Republican rally in Indianapolis, reportedly attended by 60,000 people, included an ox-drawn parade wagon depicting Brigham Young along with six wives dressed in hoop skirts, each with a little Brigham in her arms....

However his inability to lie straight in bed, he is straight as an arrow compared to the pretzel we presently have.
"The appointment of Jesus to be the Savior of the world was contested by one of the other sons of God. He was called Lucifer, son of the morning. Haughty, ambitious, and covetous of power and glory, this spirit-brother of Jesus desperately tried to become the Savior of mankind." (Seventy Milton R. Hunter, The Gospel Through the Ages, Melchizedek Priestood manual, 15).
"Who is it that is at the head of this? It is the Devil, the mighty Lucifer, the great prince of the angels, and the brother of Jesus." (Journal of Discourses 6:207).
And of course I could list more and more. I pray the Lord will give you eyes that will see and a heart that will repent and believe on the true Lord and Savior. The Lord says we must worship Him in spirit and in "truth".

The Holy Bible teaches us that Jesus Christ's mother was Mary, His father on earth was Joseph. When he turned 30, He began..teaching, blessing, and healing... He also organized His Church and gave His apostles "power and authority" ( Luke 9:1 )..But what do we mean when we say He is the Savior of the world? The Redeemer? Each of these titles point to the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way by which we can return to live with our Heavenly Father. Jesus suffered and was crucified for the sins of the world, giving each of God’s children the gift of repentance and forgiveness. Only by His mercy and grace can anyone be saved. His subsequent resurrection prepared the way for every person to overcome physical death as well. These events are called the Atonement. In short, Jesus Christ saves us from sin and death. For that, he is very literally our Savior and Redeemer. In the future Jesus Christ will return to reign on earth in peace for a thousand years. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and He will be our Lord forever."(mormon.org)
the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Rom6:23

Dear Mormon There is an enormous problem for Mormons, the teaching of the lds departs from Biblical doctrine of Christ who from everlasting to everlasting is the Son of the Only True and Living God, the Eternal God and makes Him out to be the spirit brother of Lucifer (Satan)
"Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Son of God. He is our Redeemer. The Holy Bible teaches us that Jesus Christ's mother was Mary, His father on earth was Joseph, that He was born in Bethlehem and raised in Nazareth, and labored with Joseph as a carpenter. When he turned 30, He began a three-year ministry of teaching, blessing, and healing the people of the Holy Land. He also organized His Church and gave His apostles "power and authority" ( Luke 9:1 ) to assist in His work.
But what do we mean when we say He is the Savior of the world? The Redeemer? Each of these titles point to the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way by which we can return to live with our Heavenly Father. Jesus suffered and was crucified for the sins of the world, giving each of God’s children the gift of repentance and forgiveness. Only by His mercy and grace can anyone be saved. Well said, in the realm of cults, they are like monopoly money. It amazes me that anyone could be fooled by them, but then such is blindness. If someone is blind, then only Christ can undo the blindness. To me the fact that they say Christ is the devil's spiritual brother is such an abomination that if anyone thinks they are a legitimate expression of faith, then they can't be in the faith.
