The White House is really getting specific when it comes to the unemployment rate.
Rather than 8.3% -- the rounded-up figure -- Obama economic adviser Alan Krueger writes on the White House website that the real jobless rate is 8.254%.
"The household survey showed that the unemployment rate ticked up to 8.3% in July (or, more precisely, the rate rose from 8.217% in June to 8.254% in July)," wrote Krueger, chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.
@cordle I could not agree more... The democrats in my opinion keeps people struggling and depended on the Government in order to control. They are hypocrites when it comes to freedom and success. Barry Obama and Harry Reid are killing jobs , energy, defense, and dividing our country. Im for a FREEDOM DEFENDER not a community organizer... Manipulation of the facts and economy with the truth are part of the training of politicians. Nobody really believes government stats today.
The real problem America has with modern Democrats is the blatantly obvious moral decline which they legislate for, and the creeping socialism which they are introducing. Both of which destroy decent society and nations.
The need to do this is reflection of the real desperation of the Obama administration. It is a good sign for the country that they resort to such silliness.
