Dan Saperstein, executive presbyter of the Presbytery of Plains and Peaks, which First Presbyterian belongs to at present, provided The Christian Post with a statement. ...

Good! Come out from among them! They are an apostate institution and a dying breed, our Lord is standing outside the doors, knocking desiring to come in, after all why is He not welcomed among those He has died for?

By Kevin DeYoung, CP Guest Contributor

"There is no way, short of a miraculous and full-scale changing of hearts and minds, for North American denominations to survive the homosexuality crisis."

You should have been cognizant of this when you posted "I CAN SAY THAT UNDER OBAMA THE JOBLESS RATE HAS DECLINED AND THE BLEEDING HAS STOPPED. THE TURN AROUND IS SLOW BUT A TURN FOR THE BETTER ANYWAY YOU PUT IT" on the jobless rate thread...unless "declined" has a new inverted meaning.

"First Presbyterian is one of many PC(USA) congregations across the country that have voted to leave the mainline Protestant denomination due to the decision at the 219th General Assembly to allow presbyteries to decide to ordain noncelibate homosexuals to church positions"

Another church with the worldly doctrine of 'Ditch the Bible - Keep the lust'

Why these people call themselves Christian yet seek to sanctify sin and send these sinners to hell by legitimizing their sinful acts is beyond comprehension. It certainly isn't Biblical, therefore PCUSA proves itself to be UNBiblical. This has become a worldly church an offense to God. Like other false witness churches they appear to think they have the power to decontaminate sin.

"Deut 28:20 The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me."

There must be a correlation between diversity of dress at a general assembly and diversity of theology sufficient to drive a congregation into destitution.
