Ahmadinejad: World forces must annihilate Israel

In a speech published on his website Thursday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the ultimate goal of world forces must be the annihilation of Israel.

Speaking to ambassadors from Islamic countries ahead of 'Qods Day' ('Jerusalem Day'), an annual Iranian anti-Zionist event established in 1979 by Ayatollah Khomeini and which falls this year on August 17, Ahmadinejad said that a "horrible Zionist current" had been managing world affairs for "about 400 years."

Repeating traditional anti-Semitic slurs, the Iranian president accused "Zionists" of controlling the world's media and financial systems. ...

Scripture -- can you name one time that Israel had peace in the land outside of right relationship with God?

31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times. 32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the Lord hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it. Compare Ezek. 39 chapter
Gog and Magog come from the North in this chapter elsewhere from the four corners.

Psalm 87:1,5 1 His foundation is in the holy mountains. 5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.

Psalm 102:16 16 When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

Zeph. 3:12 12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord.

Zech. 11 the chapter

Hitler got his earthly kingdom, for what it's worth. yet his soul remained unredeemed.

He thought he would make a land covenant and avoid the whole confession thing.

Never works out. The path is narrow. Here we are seeing those of the wide path duke it out.

THe church better settle with herself what the covenant is, it is her only hope.

Strange how people ignored the psychopath Hitler, and said he didn't mean everything he said -- but he did. Unfortunately, he was a powerful and not a stupid evil man either, as is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Consider This: Iran-- talking cure for psychopath. I would also suggest you read the pdf, Does God Have a Future for Israel?: A Study of Romans 11.

"In a speech published on his website Thursday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the ultimate goal of world forces must be the annihilation of Israel."

The devil could not have put it any better.

I expect the mid-east to erupt any day now. All countries involved are currently looking at it either secularly or islamically. But Israel is forecast to return spiritually and find their Messiah. God has NOT cast them off irrevocably. And once the LORD rises up against his enemies, there is no telling what will happen.

Those of us who are Gentiles need to grapple with this subject and try to understand better.

The path to the heavenly Zion is not thru dispossessing the indigenous peoples of the Mideast in favor of a European colony led by prosylytes of the pharisees religion.

Abrahams seed is Christ
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Galatians 3:17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. Galatians 3:18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

The heir of the promise now rules and reigns over the Covenant land
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
& the whole earth
Psalms 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Psalms 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

How about God is faithful to maintain His covenant promises to the physical children of Abraham as Paul reiterates in Romans 9-11 as the Gentiles are now grafted in as if they were natural branches, all the while Paul maintaining the distinction between the two people for the purpose of His promises to Abraham, but of course not in Christ.
Does Jesus not love the Jewish people and is He not working to fulfill the promises God made to them, to save them and bring them to national repentance and restore them to their land? If not, please give me Scripture to show where God has now cast off the Jewish people completely (and not in a salvific sense, for we all know that outside of Messiah, NO ONE is getting in).
Look, if people cannot see the Jew-hating, Christian-hating rhetoric and BELIEFS of men like Ahmednijaad and Islam in general, I do not know what else to say. Because Holocaust denial usually goes hand-in-hand with loving the Jewish people? Come on, man...

"God is a Zionist"

nothing like man creating God in his own image.

If Jesus is a Zionist, why did he come for the whole world, and then tell believers they would have to die to the flesh?

If he came to save the special flesh, the special carnal places of the world, why is there a necessity to pass from life to death to a newer and more enduring life, and why does Revelations teach that the New Jerusalem is in heaven coming down?

Why did Jesus predict the fall of Jerusalem if that is his greatest pride?

His love is for the gathered, redeemed, they are the ones that will not slip from our hands.

This is nothing more than a rewrite of the new covenant.

I've heard it said that Ahmad never made that comment, but he is completely surrounded by foreign bases all around his country and dictators taken down one at a time, not to say it was anyone's business to do so, the west is the least of those with credibility on this issue.

Rufus, you must be a fan of Tom Friedman of the New York Times? Into the Fray: Fatuous, feckless Friedman.

Israel definitely has its enemies, The Prophetic Enemies of Israel. Of course it has its true friends also, Christian Zionists: The Real Terrorists--the article points out the answer is "No!" to that one.

There is a whole section on the Jerusalem Post devoted to the Iranian Threat. It's a good section to look over about not only Israel's enemy but one to the United States and Western Europe as well.

I remember when looking at school atlases in a shop in Saudi Arabia, they had neatly deleted the word Israel wherever it was written with a thick black felt tip pen.

Hence it was no longer on the map!

It isn't likely Ahmadinejad said anything about wiping Israel off the map, since he apparently doesn't think Israel is on the map.
