Think Chick-fil-A is Alone? 9 Other Bible-Banging Companies

August 1 designated in social media as Chick-fil-A Day brought huge crowds with lines going out the door.

Since the founder of Chick-fil-A came out and publicly opposed same-sex marriage, many people have been forced to take a hard look at what companies they will support. While some of the big conglomerates throw a little money at both sides of the debate in an effort to remain neutral; readers may be shocked to find that just because they’re not as outspoken, some companies make a point to be purposeful about their faith.

Here’s a list of some of the more well known religious companies and how they demonstrate their religious freedom. This list is in no particular order. ...

Plenty of poor unmarried men are not going to keep their pants zipped, Prejudice. Again, however, is the unborn child going to suffer for acts of its parents? Now to find ways for the parents to pay for it, e.g., for example I understand that there is better national tracking of deadbeat dads who don't pay child support? Excellent, if true. I have never have suggested that illegal immigrants, if there is someway to make them, not the infants to regret their irresponsibility--I'm all for it.

Hmm, having a special day, Saturday, the sabbat, to do it at Chick-fil-A would have been fine. Social protests by individual church members are fine, but by churches no, The Purpose of the Local Church and Community Issues.

Rather than buy a chicken sandwich, shouldnt we organize a Hallowing of the Lords Day for Chick Fil A? Cathy honours God on the Sabbath, shouldnt we also support him in a Godly way and follow his example?

If anyone else is interested in this, post below and maybe together we can make it happen by getting the Word out

*Note: I have sinned and not honoured the Sabbath as well as I should

Whites can still sorta keep their pants zipped. Others, according to Jim, not so much.

It's quite revealing how closet leftists parrot their open leftist buddies' lines. And reveal their racism in the process. A shame you see black and hispanic folks as less able to keep from getting pregnant than whites.

When an engaged couple is counseled by your pastor and they advise they're scheduled for sterilization before marriage, is this biblically okay?
From what I remember and surmise from my pastor's sermons etc., --of course not! But can a sex-offender have such an operation, from what I read from the Scripture! --Yes!

Matthew 19
12 "For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are also eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to accept this, let him accept it."---NASB

Oh, besides Repub. politicians whoring themselves to large denominations trying to protect their turf, I have to say the slyness of some anti-ACA types is the false outrage about abortion, since Blacks will be forced to go the cheaper route of abortion and contraception, since they won't get pre-(and post?)natal care without ACA.

S.F. John I've always been for responsible procreation. This why I'm against how, not if, Neb. gives aid to illegals.

Here're Some "Nuggets" To Chew On While You Eat Your
Chick-Fil-A Chicken Saints:

"CHICAGO REPUBLICAN PARTY TO FILE CHICK-FIL-A COMPLAINT...

'The Chicago Republican Party will be filing a complaint with the Illinois Department of Human Rights and Attorney General Lisa Madigan over the discriminatory action by Alderman Proco (Joe) Moreno against Chick-fil-A.

Alderman Moreno has stated publicly that he will block the company's move to open a restaurant in the 1st Ward because he disagrees with the owner's religious views. Alderman Moreno's actions constitute clear religious discrimination, and are barred by both Illinois and Federal law.

Alderman Moreno is attempting to use the hammer of goverment action to harm a person's business after that person expressed religious views with which Alderman Moreno disagrees. It's hard to imagine a clearer violation of First Amendment rights.'

CHICAGO GOP PRESS CONFERENCE @ (CHICAGO) CITY HALL...

'On Wednesday, August 1 at 10:00 am (Chick fil A Appreciation Day) the Chicago Republican Party [held] a press conference at City Hall, second floor.

The party [was] making a formal complaint against 1st Ward Alderman Proco "Joe" Moreno and Mayor Rahm Emanuel with the Illinois Department Of Human Rights And Attorney General...' " !

Of course this is not evangelism!!! But we can support a Christian brother's right to free speech and show that we love him, right? Or are we just against everything now... Why don't we positively encourage a Christian brother, his excellent business model and service, and his great chicken!? Are we just mad about everything all the time?

And Chik-fil-a is very welcoming, nice to everyone that walks in the door, and treats EVERYONE who comes in with the same courtesy. Dan Cathy has not been accused of doing anything illegal, immoral, or unethical; he's been accused of stating his opinion and his values, plain and simple.

Lighten up, Mike, and grab a chicken sandwich. Not just Christians eat there; there are unbelievers there you could evangelize; you won't be kicked out of Chik-fil-a for sharing Jesus!

Ah, but Mike N.Y., I haven't approved of abortions or even handing out contraceptives. Will abortions be more common? Not unless they can get more doctors to perform them. Are there outfits like Planned Parenthood already in existence (and no, I don't think they should get more money from the government. )

However having a child is much more expensive than aborting one, and contraception pills, from Mexico anyway, pennies a piece? Women are already using them. So, they won't be suddenly flooding the market is ACA is adopted

So, Nebraska is just the 3rd of the states supplying pre-natal care. Are you and the others fighting for that in your states? Do you have eager adoption services at the ready --I think-- Nebraska probably outshines many states on this. Pre-natal care, such as ACA provides is something you fellows should have been fighting for earlier.

The big hostility is from three large denominations, two I don't even consider remotely Christian, not wanting their health insurance being in competition with what they provide, since they are buying members and not bringing people to Christ. This is why there is so much hostility by the Romish, Mormon, and sadly the Lutheran Churches.

By the way, there is nothing unbiblical about unforced sterilizing.

Do I agree we should Stand with business that hold to Traditinal marriage? Yes. But their are a lot of issues christians are silent on.

As long as you are a woman on this side of the womb. I just heard today on the radio that the so-called "morning after pill" was now going to be covered by ACA as "preventative medicine" for women (except for the newly conceived ones looking for a place to implant themselves into the uterine wall!)

However, that's off-topic, and while I applaud these companies stands, one I avoid is Walmart because of their obnoxious business practices. This is not only a problem for small towns, When Walmart Comes to Town but even towns like Lincoln, this behemoth runs rough-shod over neighborhoods, City leaders hope nixing liquor license will get Wal-Mart's attention.

The Book of Revelation touches (somewhat on this matter).

Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
