Some military analysts and human rights groups say that the Syrian civil war may soon be over â but that reassurance isnât enough to prevent the countryâs Christians from fleeing from the violence.
Dutch journalist and human rights analyst Martin Janssen reports from Jordan that Christians are fleeing Syria in record numbers. Janssen says the Christian refugees first fled because of an ultimatum.
âAn exodus of Christians is taking place in Western Syria,â Janssen said. âThe Christian population has fled the city of Qusayr, near Homs, following an ultimatum issued by the military chief of the armed opposition, Abdel Salam Harba....

1 The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see. 2 O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save! 3 Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. 4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you. 6 For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not their's. 7 They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves
There is a problem in any nation when their judgment and dignity proceeds from themselves and not from God.

"âAlthough Christians in Syria and leaders do not desire or want to leave, yet the question still prevails, âWhat is the free world doing to prepare for that exodus?â a Christian from Syria asks,â"
Free World??? Now there is an interesting concept.
These Syrian Christians like the Iraqi Christians before them, are being pushed out of the middle east and judging by the comments in this article Al-Qaeda is taking over Syria with Jihadists and the Moslem Brotherhood.
That mix probably would help the Christians to make the decision to leave anyway. Then the Christians can go and live in this quote "Free World" they're referring to, wherever that is.
The longer the western nations UN et al stay out of Syria the worse it gets both in conflict and for the "whose in charge" future. I wonder what a Syria under the control of Al-Qaeda would be like in a future world?
