Fluoride Lowers IQ in Kids, New Study Shows

A review of some two dozen studies by Harvard University researchers published this month in a peer-reviewed federal journal suggests that fluoride added into water supplies “significantly” decreases the IQ of children, leading to renewed calls by activists to end the controversial practice of fluoridation. Most public water supplies in the United States still have the chemical added in by authorities under the guise of preventing tooth decay.

"The children in high fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ than those who lived in low fluoride areas," noted the Harvard research scientists about the results of their study, echoing claims by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that there is substantial evidence of developmental neurotoxicity associated with the chemical. “The results support the possibility of an adverse effect of high fluoride exposure on children’s neurodevelopment.” ...

Jim, you gonna wait until those who have lots of $$$ to lose tell you what is? its your body, you know. get filters and get that stuff out of your water, quit buying it in your toothpaste? as long as the majority is willing to get their constant poisons, they aren't going to change a thing. the science is way too obvious here, the mainstream dinosaur medical system is set in their ways. and the other issue is this, once its admitted that its poisonous, and they've been recommending it, burying studies and such, what does that make them? you aren't going to get confessions, so best to do what you've got to do to take care of your loved ones.

from a pragmatic point of view it is incredible waste. if dentists started out with mercury free materials in the first place and they took the toxic waste additives out of the water supply, the prevention of health destruction is immeasurable? at this point, people are forced to spend lots of $$$ to undue the damage.

the latest information is that most societies have refused this poison and that the fluoride we use is industrial toxic waste that requires costly facilities because it burns through everything including the humans kidneys.... it is not an "essential mineral", but a toxic metal. if one is having mental issues best to have a hair sample tested.

Neil, I agree with your last sentence

Children may be susceptible to too much fluoride. The latest information, Aug. 2014, on problems with flouridation, High fluoride levels found in some private wells in Maine.

Tucson Water claims that flouride here occurs naturally. Maybe that explains Tucson's politics. Anyway, if flouride indeed degrades intelligence, then depend upon it, no authorities will want this to change.

But seriously, intelligence is hopelessly subjective, thus impossible to measure. Where is it written that intelligence is the ability to solve a select set of arbitrary inferential puzzles or math problems? Stephen Jay Gould pointed this out, despite his Darwinism.

And more importantly, Scripture values wisdom — not the same thing.

You mean vaccines that cured polio, small pox, and I believe chickenpox etc? I can understand why their would be a conspiracy against a chickenpox vaccine. Doctors have to get more money treating it and shingles in later life--a double whammy.

But poison being put into children's toothpaste sounds like a conspiracy theory so this research has to be wrong...
As is the case so often, common sense tells us that if the label has stuff in it that is manufactured and sounds like a chemical it probably was not meant for human ingestion.

Another example of the official "approvers" approving chemicals for poorer health not better health. Evenually the truth becomes known. Dare we mention vaccines?

Speaking of low IQ's. Obama and all the liberal Democrats have low IQ's and are also insane and psychotic for being for abortion, homosexuality and every other perversion under the sun.

DR. PHYLLIS MULLENIX
While holding a dual appointment to Harvard and the Forsyth Dental Research Institute, Dr. Mullenix established the Department of Toxicology at Forsyth for the purpose of investigating the environmental impact of substances that were used in dentistry. During that undertaking she was also directed by the institute's head to investigate fluoride toxicity. That's where, as she puts it, "things got weird."
She proved this so completely that it got her fired from both establishments when she published a peer-reviewed paper of her data in the Journal of Neurotoxicology and Teratology.
What's to investigate about toxicity? Sodium fluoride is used in rat poison, isn't it? It's probably not done to make the rats' teeth strong. If you read the fine print on fluoridated toothpaste, it says don't let your little kids swallow it, and if they do, get medical help or call a poison control center.

Our county even adds it to the drinking water, just to make sure we get enough. Yet dentists' offices are fancier than ever. You'd think they would be out of business by now, thanks to sodium flouride.

The lady was fired because she was critical of a sacred cow, and the sci-fi priests objected.
