In gay marriage fight, some companies take a stand
Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos waded into a developing corporate culture war over gay marriage Friday with a $2.5 million donation to keep same-sex unions legal in Washington, becoming the latest in a list of high-profile executives to take public stands on a hot election issue.

Bezos joins Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and companies like Starbucks and Nike with support to the campaign to uphold Washington's law. And while fast-food chain Chick-fil-A set off a furor opposing same-sex unions this month, other companies — including big names like General Mills and Nabisco — are brushing off fears that support for gay marriage could hurt their bottom line.

Gay rights advocates say the activism sends a strong message. ...

It's sad when Chick-fil-A and other companies take stands against the very sins pastors should be preaching against. This says something about the weakness of so many pulpits.

I intend to spend lots of money dining on CFA chicken. I'll be sure to avoid those companies supporting sodomy.

My bad. I must have misread something to say that Starbucks stood on the same side as Chic-fil-a.

Why should Mormons ban Starbucks? Mormons Prepare to March in Seven LGBT Parades this Weekend.

We really should start looking at ways of having less business with companies that support Homosexuality.

Now, see, it would have been great if Microsoft had been broken up too.

Imagine the uproar if Salt Lake City banished Starbucks.

(For the sake of argument, ignore the fact that mormons don't drink coffee)

"Microsoft founder Bill Gates and CEO Steve Ballmer have each also donated $100,000 to the effort to keep gay marriage legal"

How evil, malevolent and nasty these rich people are, contributing to sending these poor people to hell and damnation.

Rich people definitely will be going to hell and suffering for an eternity because of their broken moral compass.

Matt 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Oh brother! The stand Chickfila has taken certainly has not affected their business here in my area. In fact, it's probably boosted their sales. I know I'm eating there more than ever because of it.
