Gaza Christians pressured to convert to Islam

Two conversions that a Christian family says were forced have strained relations between a tiny Palestinian Christian community in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip and the Muslim majority.

Hundreds of Christians have staged protests in Gaza's main church in the past week, demanding the return of members of their community of 2,500, whom they said were kidnapped by Islamist proselytizers and forced to convert to Islam.

Christians are blaming the Hamas-affiliated Palestine Scholars Association and its chairman Salem Salama, a senior member of the Islamist Hamas movement. ...

praying for the believers in the Middle East caught in religious and political persecution.

there is another side to the persecution of Christians there.

unfortunately, it doesn't aid in the political agenda of american Christian zionism and so isn't talked about.

one can watch clips of the 60 Minutes program on Christians in Palestine, and the Christians themselves explain why they are having to leave.

Unfortunately, The Beleaguered Christians of The Palestinian-Controlled Areas have been just that for too many years, but then in Muhammadan controlled areas, this has been the case without a Western power to intercede. Not that there has been any of those lately, in particular, Iraq's war on Christians or The forgotten Christians of the East in general.
