Miami School Seeks to Evict Church for Anti-Gay Sermons
A Southern Baptist church called Impact Miami could soon be evicted from its meeting place at the Miami-Dade County Public Schools because of its position on homosexuality, which the school board describes as ‚Äúcontrary‚Ķto the basic principles of humanity.‚ÄĚ
The church reportedly pays roughly $1,500 a month to use the high school facility on Sundays, and both its congregants and pastor feel they are being unfairly punished.
‚ÄúI never thought I would be penalized for teaching on Christian marriage and sexual ethics from the Bible ‚Äď the very Bible that presidents swear on,‚ÄĚ Pastor Hakimian said....
As mentioned in a later thread the pastor clearly attacked bullying, so, in this case the church may win in being able to point out, The Bible Says Homosexuality is Sin, but if possible as was seen in NYC, it would be better for the church to find another home, if this was feasible. It appears that more Christians should be looking into home schooling their children in the Miami area.
