We would say that most times what is wrong Biblically is always wrong for society, but of course I realize America while shaped by Judeo-Christian heritage, it isn't a Christian nation. But many times the secular side of government realizes that many actions are unhealthy for the secular state. In Nebraska homosexual "marriages" are banned constitutionally. However, are state university made up of a smart (not wise) leadership got a way around this by adding a "plus one" to benefits packages which gave benefits to homosexual relationships, the same benefits of actual marriage, even without the name, in some ways I think this is worse.
