No, JPW, if you read the USA Today article, Whooping cough could reach highest levels since 1959, only around 8 or 9% of adults have been vaccinated. Get your shots if you're around children and live in a high risk area.

It's really about adults and especially pregnant women getting their pertussis shots. This is a case of of germy adults infecting children.

Now I'm not trying to be a negative person and I pray for everyone that is sick with this terrible disease. My questions is this, if the stinking shots that they load kids down with from birth on are soooo miraculous than why oh why is there an epidemic and why is this woman so worried about the babies? I feel we give our children far too many shots with out ANY consideration of the side effects (autism). Please do not get me wrong, i'm sure some of the shots are good. I feel that there are too many and they are too aggressive.
