Romney Gathers for a 'Word of Prayer'

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney gathered with supporters in New Hampshire this morning for "a word of prayer."

"Our hearts break with the sadness of this unspeakable tragedy," Romney said, according to a rush transcript. "Ann and I join the president and first lady and all Americans in offering our deepest condolences for those whose lives were shattered in a few moments, a few moments of evil, in Colorado. I stand before you today not as a man running for office but as a father and grandfather, a husband, an American. This is a time for each of us to look into our hearts and remember how much we love one another and how much we love and how much we care for our great country. There's so much love and goodness in the heart of America."

Romney later said, "We pray that the wounded will recover and that those who are grieving will know the nearness of god. Today, we feel not only a ...

How can two walk together unless they agree, the bible declares. How can Christians support a Mormon, Really??? It totally contradicts the scriptures. We really don't have any good options this election, I'm really not voting for a person who believe in latter day saints... just because rich and probably unsaved people want me to.

How much time did you spend this past week in serious prayer for the salvation of the lost? Paul says this is of first importance. Prayers are to made on behalf of all men. Entreaties - comes from a sense of the great need of others. Prayers - used in the sense of coming to God with reverence and worship. Petitions - to draw near to have familiar conversation. Thanksgiving - a heart filled with gratitude.

Wow, I find it interesting that there were only 2 posts on this topic. If this were referring to Obama gathering for a "word of prayer", there would be multiple posts! I think Romney deserves more of the same that Obama has rightly been receiving. I guess the devil has convinced many that "God is a Republican" after all.
Mitt Romney
Is lost and on his way to hell in the false version of Christianity that Mormonism is, and genuine born again Christians ought to pray for his Salvation and that of Barak Hussein Obama as well.

NOT pray with them BUT FOR THEM for their repentance, for them to come to genuine faith in Jesus Christ, for them to be truly born again of the Holy Spirit, for the obedience of faith in their lives.

And BTW we ought to unceasingly pray for those all around us that we personally know who desperately need to be made right with God and saved from their sins, saved from every false belief and unrepentant unbelief as well.

Unfortunately, Mr. Romney doesn't know what Prayer because as a Mormon he will state, We're Christians just like you! -- which of course they aren't.
But you will cast a vote for him to be your leader anyways
