A professor at an Iowa college says as a Christian, he has to say that Jesus was a Muslim.
Ignoring the historical timeline in which Jesus taught some 2,000 years ago in the Middle East and the advent of Islam is dated six centuries later, after Christianity had impacted much of the known globe, Robert F. Shedinger, who wrote “Was Jesus a Muslim?” said his research convinced him of Jesus as aligning in thought with Islam.
Good way to get headlines for book sales !....Shame people play their game and post non-sensical articles that should be ignored and not dignified with coverage.
"“I had to rethink what Islam is,” Shedinger said in the interview. “I came to the conclusion that it was a social justice movement and I think that’s who Jesus was in the first century so I conclude Jesus is more like a Muslim.”"
Shedinger claims to be a Christian. But then so does the pope and the archbishop of canterbury, - and as all real Bible believing Christians know - they are liars too.
Suggesting that Christ would support a religion in competition with that which HE established whilst incarnate on earth, is so blatantly far from the truth and reality of The Son of God and the Word of God; - That we can see clearly that this guy is either a Liberal or some other deluded false profession.
Satan is working very hard with his demons in the spiritual warfare realm, to confuse and confound flesh and blood into accepting false human cults such as Islam, Liberalism and Roman Catholicism, that it seems he is getting desperate as time closes in.

If you notice the reporter said that he was not there to divide but to bring unity only yeah if you believe that garbage. Did you see the glee on his face. What if the professor would have said Jesus was a muslim but you have to follow the Bible and Jesus is God. He would called for a fatwa or jihadi. The Bible is clear about these people he confounds to wise and makes the word of GOD foolishnes to them. This is a perfect example. Not only is he ignorant of history but he is a professor of religious studies not a theologian (which means the study of GOD) just another publicity hound who gives muslims credence in their warped religion.
His books will sell like hotcakes in the Muslim world. This will be thorouly debunked. But Muslims will, with glee, use this to show it's uneducated masses that Western Christian Professors are now discovering that Allah is the true god
So Jesus was following a religion that would not even come into existence for another 450 years. At least not the religion practiced by Muslims today. Where do they find crack pots like this? Is Richard Dawkins experimenting on humans now?
