Nick Clegg hoists rainbow flag over Whitehall

A homosexual flag is flying over Whitehall for the first time ever, after the Deputy Prime Minister personally requested it.

Nick Clegg succeeded in getting the flag to fly in the run up to World Pride 2012, hosted in London this weekend.

The move comes after comments by Mr Clegg that he personally wants Government plans on same-sex marriages to go much further by allowing gay weddings in churches.

The only thing that is withholding the tide of judgement is the presence of faithful men and women who are serving the Lord in the midst of an ungodly nation. But it will be a different story altogether when the Lord comes and takes His people home (Gen 18:24). Then the nation will reap what it has sown.
And yet, if the Lord tarries, we must remain faithful to our testimony and remain strong in the Holy Spirit, and never sway from the gospel of Christ.

the flag is already flying. there's no more of this, "if its this bad now, what will happen when...." the when is now. just like the German Christians like Corrie and Deitrich, and the Foxe Book of Martyrs, and the believers of the Middle East, and the secret home churches of China, and the atheists (Christians) of the Roman Empire...... believers have always remained in times of tribulation.

When the dust settles and believers are finally able to say, how now should we walk through this den, through this fiery pit? How now may I be used by the Lord through this dark time, to be the salt of the earth? That is when the church is ready to proceed.

1. John you are far too optimistic, as you have arrived at in your point No.3. The end is nigh so things can only get worse. The fact that sodomites are a minority group is not the problem, Liberalism in the church and institutions is far more dangerous. A lack of moral standards is destroying marriage the family and our kids future.
2. Fire and brimstone in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah was simply the way which the Lord worked through His justice and punishment. The next fire and brimstone could be anything which closes down western nations.
3. The diminishing of the church in both presence within the community and in doctrine is significant, a sign of the increase in iniquity and Satan's growing range. The dominion of sin which Paul refers to is expanding correspondingly with the demise of real church and doctrine.
Now stop being optimistic and be miserable!
1. Correct. It should not have been called the UK of Sodom and Gomorrah, but Liberal or Secular UK.

2. Correct. It will not be fire and brimstone, as he said. Rather likely a nuclear holocaust.

3. The godly can still be as godly as they wish to be, as the power and edifying influence of the Holy Ghost is not diminished.

1. Rather an exaggeration methinks. That's what the sodomite lobby would have you believe. But the reality is that it is still a minority group, despite gaining support from diverse groups including this ridiculous government. Somehow I don't think the Lord will hear prayer on its behalf, except it be of the imprecatory sort.

2. The Lord's justice is always consistent, but often is deferred until the great judgment day. I don't think we shall see a repeat of that day when all the cities of the plain were burned up with fire and brimstone from heaven as a judgment of their wickedness. But then, with all the firepower of nuclear weaponry scattered around this world, and with men's hearts turning more violent and volatile, it will only take a little spark to set it all off.

As for the church diminishing, it is surely to be expected as we approach the end of the world. Once all God's elect are brought in safely to the fold, that will be it.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Gods word says that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. The empires of Britain and America are sure to fall since allowing and embracing this awful abomination against God. He is not mocked!

Absolutely correct Libby.

Clegg is an atheist and as Psalm 14 states that means the Lord thinks he is a fool. We all agree with the Lord.

This country gets worse as we go on and is now the UK of Sodom and Gomorrah. The Lord being consistent in His justice we can expect fire and brimstone if we continue to travel down this path of abomination and sin.

Romans chapter one sets out the scenario of a people under the wrath of God (V18) which includes the unnatural perversions of men and women. Therefore His wrath is already in force over the UK and that spells trouble for the inhabitants. This is probably the reason why the church has diminished over these decades, both in size and in doctrine.

As for Nick Clegg, Cameron and the rest of the perverted politicians in Westminster, may the Lord rebuke them. Along with the 'just as perverted' national churches.

Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Nick Clegg shouldn't even be Deputy Prime Minister,he wasn't voted in and at the last election the liberal party got the lowest votes and lost the greatest number of seats. No wonder Britian is having the worst summer weather since records began, the real reason for the rainbow should be remembered.
