More than 2,000 heat records matched or broken

More than 2,000 temperature records have been matched or broken in the past week as a brutal heat wave baked much of the United States, and June saw more than 3,200 records topped, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said Monday.

From June 25 to July 1, some 2,171 record temperatures were either broken or matched, the NOAA said. For the 30 days of June, that number rose to 3,215.

Sosnowski added that while some areas are not unusually warm, namely New England and the Northwest, the center of the country will experience high temperatures for the next several weeks, possibly into August.

Five states had more than 100 record temperatures broken in June. Texas had 237 records broken, followed by Colorado (226), Kansas (164), Missouri (126), and Arkansas (115). ...

American Tract Dictionary wrote:
....Jude 1:14,15, quotes a traditionary prophecy of Enoch, showing his belief in a judgment to come. There is an apocryphal book bearing the name of Enoch, in which similar language occurs. It was probably written by some devout Christian of the first century, and is only valuable for the light it throws on the belief of the early church. It was never received as canonical.

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast  them  down to hell and delivered  them  into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah,  one of  eight  people,  a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned  them  to destruction, making  them  an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot,  who was  oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented  his  righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing  their  lawless deeds)— then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority.  They are  presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, (2 Peter 2:4-10 NKJV)

I agree with John! You know there are books of the Bible that we were not given the priviledge of reading.when i read the book of Enoch, descendant of Noah, i lread that he was given dreams and visions. It seems he was taken to thke four corners of the earth. He was shown where the sun and moon and stars and wind and snow and rain and even the dew and rain and snow are housed until the Lord tells them what and when to do. The Lord tells them how long the cycle of them should be. And the angels upon command open the gates to allow them to follow the Lord's commands.
I truely believe just as the flood was the result of the Lord being fed up , the weather we are seeing may play into the Lord responding to the desciples when they ask how will we know the time of your return? They are told to watch for even as the seasons change so will his return time change.I do not speak verbatum. We can tell by the signs be it morals or weather or laws we are being governed by..Or all the changes combined!

"This heat wave is just another sign that God is lifting his hand of protection over the United States because of the evils of abortion, homosexuality and every other perversion that have been perpetrated against God in the United States. And didn't Jesus say: Lk 13:2 "Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered this fate? "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them were worse culprits than all the men who live in Jerusalem? "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

You are not a New Testament prophet John. The arrogance of man is also an abomination to the Lord.

One can also add, John Y., failure of of the ever growing population of Catholics to embrace Christianity--Is A Catholic Christian An Oxymoron? and Is the One True Church Roman Catholic?. Since you have trouble answering those questions, John Y., I'll point out again the answer is "No!" to both of them.

This is probably why Australia is having such bad weather also, The Unholy Silence of the Archbishop of Sydney, Pell, is just one example.

So, no wonder both the U.S. and Australia is suffering from such bad weather be so tolerant of an evil church. Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No.

Anyway, it's going to be a lot hotter in the Tribulation, which the Romish Church will face but thankfully not Christians, Tribulation is Not for the Church.

This heat wave is just another sign that God is lifting his hand of protection over the United States because of the evils of abortion, homosexuality and every other perversion that have been perpetrated against God in the United States. Next will come Muslims in the United States with bombs going into Synagogues in the United States and blowing themselves up taking as many Jews as they can with them just as they do in the Middle East.
