âEugenics is not a human right,â activists will declare at a meeting in Strasbourg, France this week, as Europeâs highest court considers a womanâs complaint that she was not given prenatal screening that would have alerted her to her daughterâs Down syndrome, thus giving her the choice of deciding whether or not to have an abortion.
European associations of people with Down syndrome will hold a round-table discussion on Thursday, hosted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), on the subject, âEugenics and human rights, issues of prenatal screening.â...

jpw, there are many many things I think I need to be reading. But I look right now to the Lord to lead me in what He wants me now to read in the context of:
Matthew 4:19 KJV
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
I believe that the Lord would lead me now, and does so, where I ought to be reading for the purpose of making me a fisher of men. But "he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."
Almost an impossibility for zomby traditionalists, at least in the UK. These things are so ingrained into their brains from birth up, that they do not imagine anything else exists apart from the propaganda. Even most of God's people are taken in, which is very sad.
and the big names have been saying for years they want the world population reduced by 90%. you thought they didn't mean it?
of course we helped them along by taking in the sterilizing foods and substances, abortions, and abortifacients.
people need to start thinking.
well, milk from a cow is largely illegal now, so will go many other things I imagine. I used to look at the soviet union and marvel at how a land so large with so much history could lose its ability to grow food and harvest it and survive. The people would go hungry and wait in lines for hours at a time, malnourished and reduced to rationed food.
who needs God's provision set out in the seed and nature? our priest in the white coat, with the 2.5 minute visit and 50 bureaucrats in between will keep us healthy.
jpw, while the excellent article in Wikipedia, Eugenics in the United States refers to about everything you said, it didn't put the same spin on it. Eugenicists, were more interested in blacks, southern Europeans, or any that didn't look like good upper-middle class Anglo-Saxons. There was a huge emphasis put on class as well. I would point out again the Wikipedia article, it seems quite informative.
Eugenics is a sizzling hot church-funded political potato in the U.S.:
The National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) with financial ties to 40 denominations and 45,000 churches supports Planned Parenthood (The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, an arm of Planned Parenthood). Also, this "National Campaign" has cutesy games and cartoons for our young children so they can explore their sexuality and find ways to prevent pregnancy. The webpage even takes them to a Planned Parenthood clinic website near you where your young daughter can get her birth control.
To try to reduce the soaring Evangelical abortion rate, the NAE supports the world's premier pro-eugenics and pro-porn organization, Planned Parenthood.
Despite the fact that boycotts usually fail, Evangelicals should give it the old college try to boycott Planned Parenthood:
Ask your pastor if your tithes support the NAE and thus, Planned Parenthood. If so, and chances are you do, immediately cancel your payments to them.
