Chaplains told to stop invoking Jesus at public events
Volunteer chaplains have been a big part of the police community in Charlotte for years at memorials and celebrations offering support.

But now, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department chaplains have been told that they cannot invoke the name of Jesus in prayers at public events.

“When I heard this I was sad," said Pastor Terry Sartain, who has been a chaplain with CMPD for seven years.

America used to be a Christian country. We even allowed a foreigner to come here and remove God from our schools. And now were telling men of God not to mention the name of the God they serve. This tells me that we are serving the only living God. Why. Because that is the only God that can save you. Satan cringes at the mention of his name, and by all means don't make him cringe. We are soldiers in the army of the Lord. Put on the whole armer of God. He said many will die in my name
Where it began
I can't begin to knowing
But then I know it's growing strong
Was in the spring
And the spring became a summer
Who'd believe you'd come along

Hands
Touching Hands
Reaching out
Touching me
Touching you

"Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department chaplains have been told that they cannot invoke the name of Jesus in prayers at public events"

If you remove the name - then it is no longer a prayer.

Again we see the ignorant bureaucrat trying to run religion. May the Lord rebuke them!

"13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

"And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me."

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you."
