Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar was arrested today in Georgia on charges of attacking his 15-year-old daughter during an argument, WXIA-TV reports.
The founder and pastor of World Changers Church International is accused of simple battery and cruelty to children for allegedly attacking his daughter during an fight over whether she could attend a party.
The police report says Dollar choked his daughter, then threw her to the ground, punched her and hit her with his shoe during a fight at his metro Atlanta home....
I see two problems with the comments written here: 1) There is a failure to remember Galatians 6:1.... rather than passing judgment or speculating we should be praying for the family and 2) there is another side to this story. If you go to blackamericaweb.com they have an audio clip of the 911 call placed by Pastor Dollar's daughter and she does not sound like a child who was just beaten. Cast the beam out of your own eye first Mt. 7:5.
We can all speculate on what happened, but instead wer should be pursuing for the Dollar family. It is obvious that Jesus if needed in their lives. Pray that the law of the commandments would prick his mind and the good news of the gospel would work in his heart.
Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son:but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child;but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
Proverbs 10:13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found:but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.
With the above verses I think that Creflo is just trying to be the real father he ought to be, he was fulfilling scripture by trying to stop the daughter from being in the wrong place doing foolish things...sparing the rod of discipline is the greatest mistake most parents are making and it comes to hurt them at their old age,
I think it's liberal media making it worse than it really is not that Iam a fan of creflo or any thing but he Probley did not want his daughter going to go to the party cause it was a bad environment and things got heated he is only human
