Scientists could soon be able to routinely screen unborn babies for thousands of genetic conditions, raising concerns the breakthrough could lead to more abortions.
However, they warned: “The less tangible implication of incorporating this level of information into pre-natal decision-making raises many ethical questions that must be considered carefully within the scientific community and on a societal level.
“As in other areas of clinical genetics, our capacity to generate data is outstripping our ability to interpret it in ways that are useful to physicians and patients.â€...
yes, sin it is. but sin, as in our nature and the fallen nature of the world.....
and as in sin, what we do to one another and ourselves. (such as threatening a child whose tumors are gone with removal from family if he refuses chemo, such as not having thankful hearts for God's provision but rather shirking it for man's eugenics agendas, such as putting our identity so fully in modernism that we have arrogance towards the counsel of our elders and predecessors regarding health)
there is such a thing as "you reap what you sow" or cause and effect or "what goes up, must come down".
We already know the cause of our ailments---- drum roll------- SIN and the curse. But you are right about the evolutionary ideas behind this whole testing plan. They mean to test so that they can kill them off. End of story.
autism is not genetic. healing the gut and detoxing the heavy metals is one huge help.... of course, the genetic darwinists are not able to help in such a thing, but they will make sure if the kid has a chromosomal abnormality to do them in...
eugenics.
they have been taking the blood of newborns for years now and creating databases too.
I guess there's someone out there who thinks this is progress.
They'll keep us on this genetic train, a nice diversion from finding cause of our modern ailments... but these chronic ailments are modern made. so many "syndromes" are mineral/vitamin deficencies.
their bottom line approach misses the forest for the trees.
america is darwins world.
darwin has created a world of abortion and "alternative" lifestyle, which is actually reverse "evolution", in which we are damaging the fittest and then calling them weak.
That's right John, you are awesome. I have 5 biological children. The last one, my 10 year old, has autism. When he was diagnosed my wife and I was very upset. We had the usual questions, why had God put us in this path? What is going to happen. I have prayed so much. My son has been diagnosed for 8 years, he has been the biggest blessing that I could have ever imagined. God is definetly the giver of all good and perfect gifts. I praise God and thank him for ALL my children...
When I get married and have children my wife and I will not permit testing to be performed when they are in the womb. Since my wife and I will not have any abortions then it makes no difference if the children have some type of genetic fault
