Target Blocks Group's Emails Complaining of Gay Pride Shirts
Giant retailer Target has blocked emails from the conservative American Family Association after its supporters began urging the company to pull its promotion of homosexuality.

"I hope you will not let Target silence your voice. I encourage you to call their corporate office and share your personal thoughts," the family group told supporters.

Target has partnered with Family Equality Council and is currently supporting the LGBT group with 100 percent of the proceeds it receives through its collection of gay pride T-shirts (up to a maximum donation of $120,000). ...

Amy, what did you find out about Home Depot?

I stopped shopping at Homo Depot over a year ago after calling the local store and corporate office to let them know why. I will also avoid shopping at Target now. Have also called to let them know the reason. I guess for me it's coming down to a local family owned grocer and thrift stores if the big companies continue to cave to these evil sodomite bullies.

Sorry to hear about so many stores and businesses caving in... But with the internet we have many other choices where we can shop and spend our money with a clear conscience. Also, it really won't hurt us to spend less and save more in this economy anyway.

Since the moderator removed my comment... let me ask this how long before Target has to allow transgendered in their dressing rooms like Marcy's was FORCED to do by law?

"Not only has Target resisted the LGBT movement"

Probably about as hard as they resisted complaints about salvation army workers seeking donations during Christmas? It sort of speaks of a trend to me.

We made it a point to shop at Target BECAUSE they RESISTED the LGBT movement for so long. It's been fierce lobbying by the LGBT movement that has practically forced their hand.

Consider the photographers that were fined for NOT wanting to shoot a Lesbian wedding in the story yesterday.

Not only has Target resisted the LGBT movement but another bonus to shopping there is you are not blasted with demonic music as you shop. (no music)

I don't know whats next for them, but...
If you are going to hold Target to the knife, put Google and Apple and Homo Depot right alongside. I disagree with Targets move as I do with all these companies, and may avoid them like the plague they are calling down. Is there anyplace left that hasn't bowed the knee to the LGBT movement?

"Target has partnered with Family Equality Council and is currently supporting the LGBT group with 100 percent of the proceeds it receives"

Therefore Target supports sending these poor misguided sinners to hell and damnation. What an evil organisation to do such a thing to its customers.

Mind you so does this current Government and many who call themselves "church" and many bureaucracies and many institutions and many .....!!!

I guess Target, Liberals and Democrats just don't care!! Their motto appears to be "Go to hell."

we need cohn'l guv. until mainstream conservatives and liberals get that, the huge monolithic corporations can make ridiculous decisions. mom and pop places would be harder to control, especially if we had the dignity of industry being from here instead of forced slaves in China. such in the age of global statism.

but what are we to do? will our pseudo Christian organizations or institutions match the power of the monolithic state to change ideas, methods to something tolerable?

there seems to be a wave coming through, like a cookie on the table, it must be tasted, and there seems to be a determination to go through this road of destruction as a western darwinist society.

Many Christians were told they would be raptured out and were satisfied with that (leading to complacency). We are going to have to get in our prayer closets and ask for the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us. They are trying to silence the witness of Christ, and how do we live in days of persecution? From comments here, there is anger, frustration, but in the end will come sorrow and then resolve....counting the cost is a spiritual task.

By the way, we'll make our own clothes rather than deal with this. and then what? will they make buying yards of cloth illegal like the swats at dairy farms?

I very seldom shopped at Target and now will make a point not to shop there at all. In fact, boycotts save my husband and me money.
