Jesus stars in the best-selling book of all time, but he's never been the star of a video game before.
The first-ever video game based on Jesus, Journey of Jesus: The Calling, launched this week from Lightside Games, makers of the popular Journey of Moses.
“Journey of Jesus: The Calling players walk in the Messiah's steps, in an authentic experience of Israel in Christ's time,” explains Brent Dusing, CEO of Lightside Games.

Great!
If I come across any I'll try to let you know.
I also once had an old paperback TEV Bible back in the 1970s when they called it "Good News for Modern Man", which had numerous stick-figures of Biblical Characters including Jesus mixed in with text on its pages. :/
Today I use ESV and other "Good News for ALL Men" Bibles, not just those geared for "Modern Men". Safer, I think.
Hab.Isa wrote: It is more about the heart of a people who would fabricate the dumb idol and their purpose in doing so.
Yes, even the brazen serpent lifted up by Moses had become an idol to many in I think it was either Hezekiah's day or Josiah's day until that king had it destroyed.

It is not the drawings of earthworms or fish, but the bowing down before them or serving them that would be the violation.

Hab 2:18 What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols? 19 Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it"
Isaiah 44:9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. 10 Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing? ...."
One of the more "conservative" churches I attended had a few illustrated children's books in the nursery where someone had whited-out all illustrations of Jesus' face. One of the books' own illustrators gave his illustrations of Christ the "Ben Hur" treatment, showing only the back side of Christ when shown with his disciples.
Since His ascension, Jesus has been in His glorified state as King of kings (at the Father's right hand is how the Bible describes it). No one could even begin to do justice to His appearance in this state, and since no one knows what he looked like when he was on earth, the best that anyone can hope to do now is to misrepresent him and make him look far less glorious than he is or was.

Yes! Of course the 2nd Commandment has been violated here just as Angela has stated below. This is a "graven image" in its true definition and disobedience.
Of course I would not expect our "dumb idol" worshipping Roman Catholic apostates to be able to grasp this simple fact, since their reading of Scripture has always been and still is ambiguous and vague to say the least. After all this kind of insult is a regular rite and blasphemy for the papists.
This cartoon is an inappropriate and carnal display of the ignorant Liberals and their attacks upon the Lord and true Christianity.
Ex 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Dear First Table, Jesus is part of the Triune God of Holy Scripture. We are far too lax when it comes to tolerating images of our Holy God... I am just as guilty as most and really need to toss out my grandchildren's Bible coloring books (or remove the pages) that have pictures of Jesus Christ in them.
Does the 2nd Commandment prohibit a photograph of an animal or loved one in "heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth" (Ex 20:4)?
If not, then why would a painting, sculpture or even a photo (if that were possible) of Jesus from the 1st Century have violated the 2nd Commandment? Would He have have grabbed your camera and exposed the film?
Perhaps these (FB game, Veggie Tales, other cartoons of Jesus) are not in violation of the 10 Commandments, but what they all absolutely violate is a reverence for Almighty God as you so aptly stated.
Angela Wittman wrote: it is a violation of the 2nd Commandment to have images of God.
This is just too bizarre for me... Has the Gospel and our Lord become so disrespected that we must make Him look like a cartoon image and try to appeal to a dumbdowned mass of FB users? Not to mention it is a violation of the 2nd Commandment to have images of God. Christians, if you make your faith appear to be a joke, will you really make any serious converts to Christianity? At least the Muslims respect their god (who isn't even real.) I don't know if I should vomit or cry over this latest antic. May the LORD have mercy upon His people and deliver us from such nonsense as this stupid FB game.
