Though the article passed relatively unnoticed after its original publication on Tuesday, ABC is rhetorically asking on its Facebook page today whether Barack Obama is the country’s first– you’ll never guess it– Amish president.
Why? Apparently, because his daughters are only allowed to use their cell phones on weekends, are banned from Facebook, can’t watch TV, and are only allowed to use the computer during the week when they have to do homework. Obama also said he is “too long-winded“ to use Twitter and likes to ”tape“ things on ”this—what’s it called, DVR.”...
The passage you reference is actually talking about a church office and not a political one. [AUTHOR]CAS[/AUTHOR]Let's prayer for the commander along the lines of Acts 1:20B. ‘ Let another man take his office.’
Think about it. That said, Obama is still a liberal who needs the boot come November 6.
Credit should be given where due. He does indeed seem to care about his own children. He even protects them from brain numbing public education, which he supports for others, and makes nice speeches about.
As for his being Amish, when he paints Air Force 1 black, and drives it down the back roads, I'll think there may be something to it.

I've seen Amish youth in Lancaster County using cell phones, & if I recall correctly, on weekdays.
And worse, the Amish smoke & harvest tobacco, which like network television, is offensive to both Progressive & Fundy critics of public morals. The only difference is, Progressives would rather tax it than outlaw it.
What ever has happened to praying for your elected leaders? I don't recall any real bashing of the previous president. He did some ungodly things as well (bowing to the Pope of Rome, aligning himself with a VP whose daughter is a lesbian, etc.). I regret that Sermon Audio has gotten caught up with it as well. Where are the posts against Mitt, who could become the first cultist (Mormon) president?
What a choice we have come November. Better to go with the devil you know..
No matter how you pull the lever in November, God is in control! That's always been a comfort to me.
To call Obama Amish is an insult to the Amish people. Obama is nothing less than a dictating piece of the NWO. I don't buy he wants to protect his daughters from the evils of modern technology. I think he's just a control freak who wants to manipulate and control what they watch who they talk to also what info they can research. I think we are gonna see a man far worse than hitler very very soon.
