Civil unions fail â€“ guv demands special session

A Democrat governor in Colorado has ordered state lawmakers back into session to deal with a plan for civil unions that failed during the regular legislative session.

The Colorado Civil Union Act passed the Democrat-controlled Senate, but died when the session ended after House Speaker Frank McNulty prevented the bill from being given a key vote.

It had been expected to pass as several Republicans in the GOP-controlled House had suggested they supported the idea.

The next day, just as Obama announced his support for homosexual â€œmarriage,â€ Gov. John Hickenlooper issued an executive order to call the lawmakers to come back into session on Monday to deal with the civil unions bill. ...

Republicans kill civil unions in Colorado.

Unfortunately, the queers promise to keep trying to wear down the normal people in accepting their aberrant behavior as normal.

"Coombs told a local newspaper that he would â€œaccept civil unions as a positive step for equality in our current political environmentâ€ on the road to marriage equality"

Although Coombs did not get the backing of city council for saying this it sounds as though the Democrats ie Liberals are trying to push things through before the election at the end of the year! Especially considering the Governors talks with political operatives beforehand.
Makes you wonder if this is an election about a president or about establishing the homosexual agenda?

Civil Unions are just as bad an idea as queer weddings. Perhaps even worse because normal people have to pay or guarantee benefits to degenerates.
