Franklin Graham: Obama shaking his fist at God

In another provocative comment aimed at Barack Obama, evangelist Franklin Graham on Thursday accused the president of having “shaken his fist” at God by changing his position on same-sex marriage.

“It grieves me that our president would now affirm same-sex marriage, though I believe it grieves God even more,” Graham said in a prepared statement.

“This is a sad day for America. May God help us.”

You mean the Catholic apocrypha of the New Testament, Mike? I would prefer all of it would be put in brackets, but some is so obviously not a part of Scripture, that I don't get overly worked up that it is removed, q.v.,
Bart D. Erhman wrote:
"These scribal additions are often found in late medieval manuscripts of the New Testament, but not in the manuscripts of the earlier centuries," he adds. "And because the King James Bible is based on later manuscripts, such verses "became part of the Bible tradition in English-speaking lands."
excerpt from, List of Bible verses not included in modern translations But as this article didn't point out, even some leaders of the Reformation pointed out some of these false verses.

Jim. I got a MacArthur study Bible (ESV). Our Pastor uses nkjv. That's what I like also. As I have started using the ESV, I have noticed scripture has been removed(ESV). I was very disappointed.(shocked). For example. Matt.17:21;18:11;23:14
Mark77:16;9:44;9;46;11:26;15:28;
Luke23:17 John 23:17
Acts8:37;24:7;28:29
Rom16:24. Why is it, that they would take scripture out of the newer versions ? U might want to check yours.

You've already linked arms and souls with the RCC via the NASB's derivation from the Westcott & Hort compilation of the favored Codex Vaticanus and Sinaiticus texts. And the Codex Vaticanus text is owned by the Roman Catholic Church.

When the societal kettle hits the boiling point, you, like the Grahams, will follow your Bible text right to St. Peter's Basilica for help.

Jim Lincoln wrote:
No, IHCC won't link arms with the Romish church on social/political protests, q.v., IHCC has a very clear interpretation of the Bible. Christians who use God's Word, the NASB will have no trouble in defining what marriage is.

No, IHCC won't link arms with the Romish church on social/political protests, q.v., Reversing the Reformation and Promise Keepers and the Rising Tide of Ecumenism for it has always refused to do in the past. I would suggest you read John MacArthur's commentary, Christian Duty in a Pagan Culture, for a view I would think IHCC would be in sympathy with.

Since IHCC use the version of the bible which is the preferred one by Identity: A 'Christian' Religion for White Racists nor one which is the preferred one by homosexuals, which leaves at least 69 Questions... for advocates of one antiquated Bible in particular, IHCC has a very clear interpretation of the Bible. Christians who use God's Word, the NASB will have no trouble in defining what marriage is.

The Rev. Murdoch Smith, pastor of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte, challenged Graham’s view, saying “I am always suspect when someone says that they know the mind of God.”

I am always suspect when a lukewarm Episcopalian says anything.

"evangelist Franklin Graham on Thursday accused the president of having 'shaken his fist' at God by changing his position on same-sex marriage." I disagree that Obama has changed his position. He has always been anti-Biblical on Christian issues and is now showing his true colors.

When this same-sex marriage quickly morphs into group marriage, the government requires IHCC to comply and you're forced to link arms with the RCC to resist this tyranny, why would you simultaneously poke the Catholic Church in the eye over it having yet another (there are 100s of different IFB versions of the) Bible interpretation of salvation?

"The Rev. Murdoch Smith, pastor of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte, challenged Graham’s view, saying “I am always suspect when someone says that they know the mind of God.”"

Smith of the "Liberal" Episcopal outfit disagrees with Graham, - And his reason because he suspects people who say they know the mind of God???

In other words Smith has decided that the "mind of God" agrees with the Episcopal Liberal position on sodomite marital unions. As per usual the Episcopal outfit demonstrate that they cannot read the truth in Scripture and that they would rather ditch the law of God to keep the sin-lust-abomination.

It is clear that it is pointless to say to the Episcopal outfit that the Bible reveals the mind of God, since their religion - that of Liberalism - removes them from Biblical and Christian doctrine.

The same Liberal disease which Obama suffers from is endemic in the Episcopal/Anglican outfit.

OBAMA is the first in your face Anti Christian president in USA history. Most have been but he's not hiding hit. He's taking away Christian everything. I think its funny or sad how ever you wanna look at it that some Christians actually have the nerve to call Obama a Christian. All I can say is that you are seeing the start of the evil this man is gonna bring. Its no different here in Canada our Government are just as messed up. We the family are under attack and all our Christian values are being destroyed.
