Obama’s Gay Marriage Decision Getting Blowback From His Own Religious Adviser

Rev. Joel Hunter

The evangelical pastor who President Barack Obama calls his spiritual adviser says he’s disappointed in the president’s decision to endorse same-sex marriage.

The Rev. Joel Hunter of Florida told The Associated Press that Obama called him before ABC News broadcast the announcement Wednesday.

Hunter says he told the president he disagreed with his interpretation of what the Bible says about marriage. Hunter says the president reassured him he would protect the religious freedom of churches who oppose gay marriage.

Hunter says the announcement makes it harder for him to support Obama, but he will continue to do so. ...

If we all think this way, a 3rd party will never grow. I cant convince everyone here to 'waste' their vote to build a Biblical 3rd Party. However, if you live in a non swing state...consider spending your vote for the Constitution Party

If this is Obama's "religious" adviser then he failed miserably in the advice he has been giving.
But everybody knew that Obama would cave in to the queer's he has been travelling that route ever since he got into the Whitehouse. Being a socialist he couldn't do otherwise everybody is "equal" and every "thing" is equal.
One more Democratic term in the Whitehouse should completely ruin America. God's wrath will see to that.

He was guided by you guys in New York Mike.

Quote.
"I asked myself right after that New York vote took place, if I had been a state senator, which I was for a time, how would I have voted?" Obama told Roberts. "And I had to admit to myself, 'You know what? I think that I would have voted yes.'"

Quote.
"It would have been hard for me, knowing all the friends and family that are gays or lesbians, that for me to say to them, you know, 'I voted to oppose you having the same kind of rights and responsibilities that I have,'" he said."

There you are folks your illustrious leader says its all about "rights and responsibilities."

Regardless of what God thinks or moral standards.

How can this man support Pres. Obama who is the opposite of what the Bible teaches about Godly leaders? I think they both need basic instruction in Christianity. May God have mercy upon us and remove these men from any type of leadership... And please don't give us a flip-flopping Mormon for president, either.

Obama's poll numbers are dropping. Pro-Obama comments on Yahoo articles regarding the president almost always have many more thumbs-down than thumbs up while those opposing Obama have many more thumbs-up than down. He's in trouble, so he needs to do something like this to shake up his voting base and hopefully expand it to include not only homosexuals but the many independents and libertarians who support homosexuality.

Warning to Obama and the Democrats and those who have Satan in their hearts.

Lev 26:21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.
33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

Now does America deserve this just because you want the votes of the deviant the pervert and the wicked abomination?

What a shame you cannot hear the truth Mr Obama.

In the 1950s SCOTUS case, Loving vs. Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Loving, an interracial married couple, after they moved into their Virginia home, were arrested one night for "unlawfully" co-habitating. In the end, this couple was exonerated by the high court. This case clarified it's not the business of the U.S. Government to tell a couple who loves each other, that they may not marry. Though that case regarded an interracial couple, this has become a total set-up for a same-sex marriage decision in our day.

When that day arrives, and arrive it will, we will have American pulpits, especially in the South, who protected slavery and racial division (the SBC was even founded on these points) from day one, to thank for unwittingly bequeathing same-sex marriage to a once great nation.
