Irony: Obama admin requires visitors at White House to register unborn babies as separate guests

WASHINGTON, May 8, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Despite being arguably the most pro-abortion administration in history, the Obama White House paradoxically requires unborn babies to be registered as separate guests when pregnant women visit the building, according to an official communiquÃ© cited by the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC).

NRLC cited a newsletter from Ellie Shafer, Director of the White House Visitorâ€™s Office, which confirmed that, â€œcrazy as it may sound,â€ a â€œbaby that has not yet been bornâ€ must be included in the overall count of guests in a White House tour.

Shafer wrote that â€œthe babyâ€™s security information should be enteredâ€ into the White House system, including whether it is a boy or a girl, and which should be updated â€œonce the baby is born.â€ ...

Back then they called themselves the Democratic-Republican party, of which Thomas Jefferson, who owned slaves, was foremost at the time. Republican party didn't even exist then, if I remember correctly. I do need to review my history since it's been a while--high school--but I was blessed with VERY good teachers.

Too lazy to read the article.

Evidently there's some incentive to count the unborn in this situation, not unlike Southerners at the Constitutional Convention wanting to count slaves as whole people to enhance their political clout. Northerners protested this which (if I remember correctly) resulted in the so-called "racist" 3/5s compromise, where blacks were counted as 3/5 of a person for political purposes.

Not so strange. Remember that unborn child could be a terrorist hiding inside its mother, just waiting to get past White House security.
