Neil, notice the definition given in Wikipedia, if I decide to make you happy, I will add the term German White-Trash, Russian White Trash, or even in this country, Northern White-Trash. Some of the NAZIs weren't uneducated --in the formal sense--or poor. Perhaps I can even leave off a racial designation, and just refer to them as trash? I see in a more modern dictionary trashy people are worthless and contemptible and the early Communists were. Krylenko was the son of a revolutionary, & attended college. Vyshinsky was a lawyer. Trotsky's parents were prosperous farmers. Coren, you should read Spanish history from the Jewish viewpoint, The Virtual Jewish History Tour--Spain. Admittedly even some of the earlier Spanish rulers and popes were not such an ignorant lot, but later ones--but still, Marranos, Conversos, and New Christians usually suffered greatly under the barbarity of the Romish church
