Korean Christians aim to stop Lady Gaga's "pornographic" show
Christian groups in South Korea called on Friday for pop icon Lady Gaga to cancel her concert here saying it was "pornographic" and promoted homosexuality.
South Korea's government has already bowed to public pressure and banned under-18s from attending the 26-year old's concert, but protesters gathered outside the venue said that was not enough.
"Some people can accept this as another culture but its impact is huge beyond art and debases religions. Even adults can't see her performance which is too homosexual and pornographic," said Yoon Jung-hoon, a reverend who organized the "Civilians Network against the Lady Gaga Concert"....
That's awesome Lady GaGa is offensive and is an agent of Satan like many in the music and entertainment industry. Too many Christians sit back and allow what ever to be done. They let garbage be put on TV and the air waves. I for one do watch and listen to some non Christian music but I am at the point where I don't want to hear the garbage they talk about. The only secular music I really listen to is Jack Johnson because he at least has a good moral point to give the generation today.
Praise the Lord. It's time all Christians stop compromising with what the world says and does and begin to stand boldly and do and say as the WORD tells us.
Wow. I remember when my country (USA) used to do more of this. Hope and pray Korea can avoid the moral slide we hit back in the late 80s and early 90s, and are still on.
