Although she’s created a firestorm among believers in the past by suggesting that Jesus is not the only way, Oprah Winfrey is now boldly confessing Christ.
Twice during her “Oprah’s Lifeclass: The Tour” broadcast on Monday, Winfrey aligned herself with Christianity. Winfrey started by introducing the show to her Radio City Music Hall audience. The theme: “Spiritual Solutions.” The teacher: New Age guru Deepak Chopra.
“I am not talking about religion. I am a Christian. That is my faith. I'm not asking you to be a Christian. If you want to be one I can show you how. But it is not required. I have respect for all faiths. All faiths. But what I'm talking about is not faith or religion. I'm talking about spirituality,” Winfrey said....

Thats not Biblical Christianity. Multi-faith is a complete myth!
John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. 33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
the most important thing about being a Christian is not being the best you, its laying down the old you (repenting of doing things according to our own wisdom, the arrogance and pride of man), to be transformed by Christ, to know Him and live according to His ways--which are summarized in the law---to love God and neighbor. Our true selves are not found in experimenting with whatever, or being happy with our circumstances, but getting to know Christ, the Creator and Sustainer of our souls. That would be a conversion for Oprah that we could greatly rejoice about.
I watched a video from her show where she tried her best to publicly humiliate a woman in her audience, for standing up for Jesus and the gospel. Now I'm not saying she hasn't changed, the proof in in the fruit.
It's probably my natural cynicism about these things, but Obama says he's a Christian, even though he promotes many things anti-Christian. This is election year. Oprah says she is a Christian, even though she supports Obama, who promotes many things anti-Christian. I would have to wonder whether either would have said anything if no election was going to be held this November.
She is about as christian as Obama when she promotes books like the secret which are more new age as Justin peters covers this book as it is along the same lines as word of faith As dr phil Fernandes puts it a Christian is someone who believes in jesus alone, faith alone and grace alone People come up with many definitions of Jesus and Christianity none based or grounded in the actual christianity or Jesus of the bible
Time will tell, and we can only hope she has had some sort of conversion experience.
I've noticed a trend, though, where washed-up secular celebrities suddenly become Christians because they think that by doing so they can squeeze a little money out of that demographic. The key point here is that this happens when their secular careers are either over or doing downhill rapidly.
The fact that Winfrey is being coached by celebrity pastors like TD Jakes about how to market herself to appeal to Christians should ring some alarm bells.
