US home prices drop for 6th straight month
Home prices dropped in February in most major U.S. cities for a sixth straight month, a sign that modest sales gains haven't been enough to boost prices.

The Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller home-price index shows that prices dropped in February from January in 16 of the 20 cities it tracks.

The steepest declines were in Atlanta, Chicago and Cleveland. Prices rose in Phoenix, San Diego and Miami. They were unchanged in Dallas.

Russ, your comments are pretty good except how can anyone align themselves with a party that is infamous for lying and thievery? You had a very famous Texan who appeared on the John Ankerberg show several times, at the very least. Remember this fellow, the famous (or should that be infamous ) former Republican speaker of the house? Tom DeLay sentenced to three-year prison term.

How Catholic and some of you gentlemen, to pick sins that you really want to browbeat. No doubt abortion is a mortal sin, but then all sin is, and these even get mentioned more in the Bible!

1 Corinthians 6
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.---NASB

I will remind you gentlemen that I'm neither a Republican or Democrat, but an Independent. I have news for some of you, while the Democratic party is not the one picked by God--neither is the Republican one.

Jpw I'm pretty sure that both parties are responsible for the housing bubble. Don't mistake my questioning Jim for loyalty to any party. I am a Christian. I don't hold allegiance to any party or even country, should it ever come to that. I just think that to call yourself a Christ follower and align yourself with a party who is pro abortion is a fundamentally flawed position.

That's easy. Whoever was in charge of the various finance and banking committees in 2007 and 2008.

Russ, not to defend the current rgm, but do you have selective memory? Who created the housing bubble and who took the trillions and who gave it to them?

Ever the ardent defender of the Democrats. Jim why do you feel the need to come running to the defense of this regime?

I saw on the CBS-TV news last night, even though his sales were down, they were up from last year. Just to put things into perspective.
