New Customs Rule Would Treat Same-Sex Couples As Families
WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration proposed on Tuesday to recognize same-sex couples as families on customs forms, a small but significant step, supporters said, toward equal recognition by the federal government.

"It's very insulting to come to the United States as an American citizen with your partner or your spouse and be told you cannot be treated as a family," Steve Ralls, a spokesman for Immigration Equality, said of the rule. "It is a symbolic step forward toward making sure that gay and lesbian couples will no longer be subjected to a different standard and they're no longer invisible in the process."

The proposed rule change, which was posted to the Federal Register website on Tuesday, would expand the definition of a family for the purpose of customs forms for entering the United States. Under the current rule, same-sex partners must file separate forms rather than entering as a ...

Others God has chosen, in accordance with His justice, from the sinful mass, and ordained or decreed in advance to eternal damnation and death because of their sin, that He may reveal in them His power and wrath. And this predestination to death is necessitated according to His immutable reasons (Rom. 9). For sin is not changed in the vessels of wrath, because men are incapable in themselves of being converted and fulfilling the Law, but remain in their sins without the grace of the Son. So the righteousness of God that punishes sin has ordained these vessels of wrath for death and decreed that they perish; and that decree cannot be changed ( John 7, 8; Rom. 8, 9; Heb. 9; Rom. 5). For it is necessary for men to die and to be punished for sin. Just as it has been determined that men should die for sin , by the same righteousness God has determined to prepare and foreordain these vessels of wrath to the second death.

Gradually and little by little Satan promotes his insidious evil practices to defeat Scripture from in this fallen world. Making them even more blind where the sexual lunacy of sodomy and its affiliate cronies, takes them to lengths that can only be described as absurd mental aberrations.

dystopia -- good post, but unlimited retention and other things you have mentioned were put on floor by republicans. then republican presidential candidates say its perfectly ok!! (minus the Pauls who have been actively working to represent the people) then evangelicals vote for this! If you vote for the Rep platform, you are voting for this so......how can this election even matter?

its the evangelicals who are dystopic.

In four more years on this conveyor you'll see same-sex marriage, taxed churches, church-funded abortion, defective-fetus delivery-funding denied and church-funded euthanasia for granny and gramps. Surveillance to the teeth. Search-and-seizure without warrant. Unlimited and undisclosed dissident retention.

Welcome to Obama's dystopic worldview.

This is the most important election since 1860.
