Study Showed Birth Control Usage Increased Abortion Rates

In recent weeks, a number of media outlets have been touting studies which purportedly show that greater access to contraception lowers both abortion rates and the rate of unintended pregnancies. In fairness, some of these studies are a step up from the research that the Guttmacher Institute typically publishes. Some have appeared in peer-reviewed journals and analyze actual data. Unfortunately, the evidence they provide is far from conclusive.

Now, the California study is more interesting. It did analyze both abortion rates and pregnancy rates. However, the results were inconsistent. Women who obtained three months’ supply of birth-control pills were actually more likely to get pregnant and obtain an abortion than women who obtained only one month of birth-control pills. Only among the cohort that received a year’s worth of birth-control pills were there reductions in both the pregnancy rate and ...

“By giving benediction in 1930 to its married heterosexual members purposely seeking sterile sex, the Anglican Church lost, bit by bit, any authority to tell its other members --- married or unmarried, homosexual or heterosexual --- not to do the same.

"To put the point another way, once heterosexuals start claiming the right to act as homosexuals, it would not be long before homosexuals started claiming the rights of heterosexuals.”

Romney fielded this question from a co-ed about birth control:

“So you’re all for ... freedom and [the] pursuit of happiness. You know what would make me happy? Free birth control.”

Her remark drew a rebuke from Romney.

“Let me tell you ... something. If you’re looking for free stuff you don’t have to pay for? Vote for the other guy [Obama], that’s what he’s all about, okay? That’s not ... what I’m about.”

Any self-respecting college or working woman would never let the government even hint of de-funding Planned Parenthood. After all, it's her safety net when her birth control fails. They'll gladly vote by the 10s of millions for Obama and their partners will follow suit.

His free sex and birth control smoke screen is working perfectly. Just like the free bread and circuses (especially the circuses!) of yore.

As women canonize Obama, Republicans go down like the Hindenburg.

Meanwhile, the Christian gasps for life as his birth control noose tightens round the neck.

"Accidental" pregnancies vs. "planned" pregnancies.

Recent concepts thanks to the "all-powerful" modern god of pharmacology.

It drove me crazy when my "Christian" mother would try to "reassure" me that I was "planned" even though there was a 4-year gap between me and my older brother instead of the 1-1/2 year gap between the rest of their kids. She evidently thought my "fragile" self-esteem might be somehow mortally wounded if I concluded I was a so-called accidental pregnancy, so instead of crediting God with my ultimate origin, she credited herself and my dad (and their collective "wisdom") for "bringing me into the world" and not just being careless with their sexuality.

Later in life, when I became converted and informed of the sovereignty of God I became even more bothered by their transparently humanistic efforts to exalt themselves and me in this regard, leaving God out of the picture completely.

Of course they increase abortions, that's how the pills work in the first place. They cause an abortion. So whether you are referring to the actions of the pill or the abortions sought after when the pill fails the results are still the same.

Death control pills (they control death; have nothing whatever to do with birth) have always been the tool of the hooker. And when she gets knocked-up? Abortion's the clean-up operation. The fetal plunger.

When Christians started downing them by the truckload, amazingly they found that their minds were being tuned to a prostitution frequency. Instead of loving and being open to children, they started having "accidents." And for those who
elected against "accidents," they visited a clinic.

Now, your OB calls it in to Walgreens and they'll have your RU486 all set for your very own do-it-yourself abortion job. After all, no self-respecting Sunday school teacher wants to be seen entering a PP clinic.
