Ben & Jerry's is trying to dictate my views on gay marriage. So I'm stocking up on Häagen-Dazs
Guess what, folks? Ben & Jerry's – the American brand that brought you "Phish food" and "Cookie dough" flavoured ice cream – have teamed up with Stonewall to campaign for gay marriage in Britain. Here's their chirpy press release:
If you think that Civil Partnership is the same as marriage, think again! Show your support and help convince members of parliament that it's time to say 'I do' to same sex marriage!

But it doesn't! National healthcare & Social Security are also an attack on economic liberty, that one man should be *forcibly* billed to help another. Evidently you, like the RCC & Progressive "Christianity," refuse to draw the correct conclusions from the Good Samaritan. It is contrary to the 2nd Greatest Commandment & the 8th Commandment to demand that others pay your bills, be they your neighbor or taxpayers in general. Only by civil contract can others be so bound (i.e, voluntary insurance).
No doubt, Neil, a good comment on Ben and Jerry. I like the last sentence especially--a could also apply to those who don't want national health care for Social Security for that matter. Unless it's a policy that sells out to the various financial institutions.

Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield are another example of successful businessmen who support Progressive enemies of the economic liberty that made their success possible. I summarize such hypocritical selfishness as, “I've got mine; phooey on you!”
