Christian actor Kirk Cameron was a guest on “Piers Morgan Tonight” over the weekend to discuss “Monumental,” his new project on the roots of America coming to theaters later this month, when the British host of the program suddenly turned subject and asked Cameron his views on homosexual marriage.
Cameron’s calm answer explaining his view that marriage “was defined by God a long time ago … one man, one woman for life” has drawn a firestorm of criticism from fellow celebrities, homosexual organizations and even rock musician Nikki Sixx, who blasted Cameron as “a–hole of the week” for his answer, and Roseanne Barr, who called Cameron “an accomplice to murder with his hate speech.”
Now Cameron has released a statement to WND about the controversy:...
Praise the Lord for you Kirk, you are such a blessing. We as Christians love everyone and want them to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He loves everyone and died for everyone so we could spend eternity with Him. That is where we come from, its our home.

I wonder why they have criticised Cameron. - It was God who established marriage and "normal" relations between man and woman.
I'm glad he's not backing down. A lot of our preachers and politicians could learn a lesson from Kirk. Respectfully state your case and then stand by your words even it the majority disagree with you. Integrity is a novel concept these days. As to the defeat of the One...I'm sad to say although I wouldn't vote him in as dog catcher, I'm afraid it'll be four more years.

Just like freedom of religion we have it as long as its not Christian or as long as we say all lead to God. So so so shameful that we are totally heading to a Hitler run world. Its the same here in Canada Stephen Harper is not much different that Hitler Obama that why I call Stephen hitler Harper. As we don't have the freedom anymore

Homosexuals state that they are all for free speech but when someone tells them that homosexuality is an abomination before God and that homosexuals shall have their place in the Lake of Fire then suddenly homosexuals state that anybody speaking against homosexuality should not have freedom of speech. What is wrong with this picture?
Yea really 2 out standing people. They are so quick to attack but yet Cameron never called names and did state the Biblical view as Jesus would. I agree 100% with Kirk and say he's a good example of how Christians should represent what we stand for. Ace of a job Kirk God Bless you and your family
Wow! I guess we should be impressed. With such pillars of society like Rosanne Barr and Nikki Sixx condemning Kirk. Personally, I would consider that an affirmation that I was doing the right thing. After all, those two have lead exemplary lives. What a joke. Perhaps Mr. Sixx was looking in the mirror when he made his comment.
