A second lawsuit has now been filed against the world's largest Christian broadcasting network, and more legal complaints are still to come.
The lawsuit was filed in Orange County Superior Court by Joseph McVeigh, the uncle of Brittany Koper -- who is the granddaughter of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) founders Paul and Jan Crouch. McVeigh's case follows Koper's against two former TBN lawyers whom she accuses of negligence and breaking their "fiduciary duty and other transgressions". McVeigh accuses TBN and its lawyers of "malicious prosecution" in regards to a loan he received through TBN companies....
Oh, a crook, a crook, is a crook. Just some people want to deny that. you will still find people defending Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker.
2 Corinthians 4 2 but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake.---NASB
I wish they stop slapping the label, "Christian," on everything that calls itself Christian. TBN is an example of something that isn't Christian. The Teflon Evangelists Or:
John MacArthur wrote: Like Tetzel, TBN preys on the poor and plies them with false promises. Ironically, one doesnât even need to be an orthodox Trinitarian in order to broadcast on the Trinity network. Why, then, is there no large-scale effort among Bible-believing evangelicals to expose, denounce, refute, and silence these false teachers?
