For Women Under 30, Most Births Occur Outside Marriage
It used to be called illegitimacy. Now it is the new normal. After steadily rising for five decades, the share of children born to unmarried women has crossed a threshold: more than half of births to American women under 30 occur outside marriage.
Once largely limited to poor women and minorities, motherhood without marriage has settled deeply into middle America. The fastest growth in the last two decades has occurred among white women in their 20s who have some college education but no four-year degree, according to Child Trends, a Washington research group that analyzed government data....
"Until the 1930 Anglican Lambeth Conference no Christian denomination endorsed contraception as moral. The Washington Post Editors advised against the Federal Council of Churches' endorsement of Lambeth:
“It is impossible to reconcile the doctrine of the divine institution of marriage with any modernistic plan for the mechanical regulation of or suppression of human life. The Church must either reject the plain teachings of the Bible or reject schemes for the ‘scientific’ production of human souls.
"Carried to its logical conclusion, the committee’s report, if carried into effect, would sound the death knell of marriage as a holy institution by establishing degrading practices which would encourage indiscriminate immorality. The suggestion that the use of legalized contraceptives would be ‘careful and restrained’ is preposterous.â€

Ah yes, I see what you mean. I also remember those days. But then, Jesus did prophesy an increase of evil towards the end of the world. There is no stopping it; I expect it is the devil having one last fling before he gets hurled into the lake of fire.
Noah had it even worse, in terms of numbers. Such isolation, and the whole world scorning him and his family building a boat of all things. But the smirks turned to grimaces, when the rains fell, and fell, and fell, and the whole world bar eight was drowned in the depths of the waters, the little remnant safely on board the ark, praising the Lord for his mercy and grace.

If they really think they know, they are fools, for such causality cannot be proven. More likely, they are merely speculating. Who besides God is privy to the reasons behind each person's decisions?
